  • Excellent App

I’ve found the app extremely helpful to get me back on track deep breathing each day. It does sometimes get locked in spots, the “Hope Wall” seems particularly buggy which is a shame. Still great, and if anything suggests too much to do, which is better than the alternative, I’ll highly recommend it.
  • Love it! Great to use in lieu of a physical diary

I use it as a sort of diary. I don’t write letters to it or anything, I just write down what’s going on each day when it asks how I’m doing. And for that it’s awesome! Picture a diary that, when you’re down, recommends useful meditations and thought exercises. I’m p sure it even looks at the emotions you pick out (from a list, it kinda tags your entry with emotions) and recommends them based on those, which has been really helpful for me. Stressed? Here’s a deep breathing exercise. Can’t relax to fall asleep or just to unwind? Here’s a muscle relaxation exercise. It’s great, and it seems most of the hippy stuff is hidden behind the “premium” or whatever paywall, so there isn’t much there but things that are just standard guided breathing exercises and stuff. I cannot recommend this enough! I’m v glad my partner (who also loves it) made me download it
  • I’m sticking with it!

I’ve been using Pacifica for a few weeks now. That’s about 2.5 weeks longer than I’ve ever stuck with journaling or using a cbt workbook. There are a few things I would change: I’d like more options in the “How are you feeling?” wheel. Sometimes the pay wall seems to interfere randomly (you can have many health goals, but can’t change “friends” to “friends and family”). But these issues are so so minor. I don’t generally believe that app designers care at all about the humanity of users, but this app seems to demonstrate genuine care, as though the developers actually want to help us feel better!

This is exactly what I was looking for and I’m only on Day 2. I go to therapy once a week, but it’s just not enough to stick with me and untangle all that is Complex PTSD. The absolute best thing about this experience is the knowledge of legitimate terminology. I thrive on knowing these details. This allows me to connect and heal with with others using universal language. I’m ecstatic about the way the terms are explained as well. It sounds like real conversations with authentic problems. I can’t wait until I’ve listened to everything on repeat and it sticks. My hope is that there will be more lessons in the future. Maybe lengthy examples of conversations outside of the lessons? I like to listen to healthy therapy dialogue for comfort. Thank you!!! 🕯

This app makes me feel like I’m not alone. Education, uplifting, motivating and life changing. There aren’t words to describe the peace this app has provided for me. Thank you Pacifica!
  • Great, if you pay

The prices are ridiculous. But good for tracking moods and emotions throughout the day. I wish you guys would cut the prices in half. 6$ a month is so high... Great for people who have mental health issues AND money. The basic features are nice, just a disappointed. I don't want to hear "We need money to keep working on this app". You don't need money to help others.
  • Great App
