Keeble App Reviews

  • Works great on iPhone 6s Plus iOS 10.0.2

Impressed by the clarity of the voice of this Keeble keyboard! One important installation note necessary if the keyboard is to read out loud: " will need to tap its entry in the list of keyboards and toggle Allow Full Access to ON/green." Thanks to this instruction in a very quick response from support during installation, my copy became fully functional in a couple minutes. I am very happy to have purchased this software!
  • A truly revolutionary keyboard

This is exactly what I was looking for in a third-party keyboard! Completely customizable with powerful predictability! I love the Dwell feature, but is there any chance of adding the option for a custom dwell time? For me, I'm looking for something between 0.1 and 0.25 seconds.
  • Somewhat improved

The update seems to have resolved the backspace key problem, but I haven't used it enough to be completely convinced yet. It was an intermittent problem. Key shortcomings are that the keyboard lacks undo and redo keys. It also doesn't access the keyboard shortcuts that I've defined. I have many shortcuts in which two or three letters type an entire phrase. Not having these is very inconvenient.
  • Just what my students need!

I work with special needs students who do not always have the motor or visual skills to use the standard iOS keyboard. I have been waiting for Apple to allow for alternative keyboards that worked across all apps on the iPad and the time is finally here! Keeble is customizable to fit the various needs of my students. Some of my favorite features include the high contrast/large font keys (and the customizable colors allow me to find just the right color combinations for each student!),a powerful word prediction bar that can be enlarged, auditory cues at the letter, word and sentence level, and select on release access for those with poor motor skills. Love this app!!!
  • Pleased to be using Keeble

I like Keeble's word prediction feature and how it is quickly learning my vocabulary. The simpler keyboard layout with a larger font is easier for me to use and as an adult, I appreciate using a gray based theme. Assistiveware's support was very helpful with a suggestion on how to customize Keeble's features to work with my needs. By using Select on Release I have good control deleting a character, and I use additional taps to delete more characters. I like how shortcuts are handled in the default keyboard and look forward to a similar feature in Keeble.
