I did not even have all 3000 recipes and they would no longer sync them. When I bought the app they said nothing about paying for it .For less money keep your precious recipes in cloud yourself.Do not trust them.
  • Best recipe app EVER!!

    By Dr tinnitus
5 stars is not enough!! Best way to healthy eating. I love this app and have recommended it to so many people! I’ve had this app for years! I add to it all the time. It has just gotten better and better! You can save all your recipes. Take screen shots or just dump the recipe directly from a website. You can tag recipes like “Christmas” or “Mexican” or a picky kids name “Sam” and search by that! You can enter the ingredients and then dump that right into a grocery list!! I also just discovered (which Ive been using other apps for) is meal planner! This is the best way to start healthy eating habits is planning ahead. There’s also a “this week” check so you can easily mark things you plan to make. So now u can select recipes, create grocery list and then have each day planned out. We travel to my parents a lot and I can make our healthy foods there cuz I have my recipes. I love sharing recipes with friends too. I’ll make something for book club or a family get together and then can text the recipe to someone. Also, I’ve recently been decluttering and cleaning out papers (it’s a digital world we don’t need paper anymore) and I took photos of all my paper recipes. Kinda cool cuz I have my Moms and my mother in laws hand written recipes now archived (in their writing)! I almost Never pay for apps, but I have no problem paying $5 to be able to sync with other devices. I also have an iPad and sometime it’s easier to view on a larger screen. Plus my husband just downloaded the app on his phone and synced cuz I kept emailing him recipes for when he was at boys fishing weekend. Finally just showed him the app. Now he can start dinner too cuz he can just check the meal planner. Ok, I obviously love this app. I really think this has been a huge reason I’ve been able to successfully change to healthy eating habits. My son has autism and is a very picky eater so I’m always trying to find foods he will eat. I can favorite them (or I just learned about the tagging by his name from a video in the app).

  • Big Fan!

I have been a fan for several years. So easy to use; snap a photo of a recipe; or type it in yourself; or download a recipe from certain sites. MY FAVORITE is that I can easily share my recipes with other OrganizEat users; my daughters, sisters & friends! An extremely practical and well done app. Thx! PS - I’ve been able to take photos of my mother’s and Grandmother’s recipes and share them with my family. They get to enjoy not only the recipes but in mom’s and Grandmother’s own a handwriting. Priceless!
  • I love this app

I am downsizing and needed a way to preserve all of my favorite recipes. This app lets me maintain my online recipes and my old handwritten recipes by taking a picture all in one place that syncs up among all of my devices.

I love this app. The only problem I have is that it doesn’t give you enough space for a long recipe.
  • Does not download from alll website

For the cost, it should be disclosed that it does NOT download from Many Many website! You need to bookmark or copy and paste, then manually add ingredients if you want it to use the shopping menu. Not worth the money.

Easy to add recipes, easy to organize. Customer service is fast and thorough. Love that it syncs across my phone and iPad.
  • Best Recipe Organizer I’ve Had

    By Beesknees 🐝🐝
Full disclosure- this is the first recipe app I’ve had and I’ve been using it for about two months. In the past, recipes have been crammed into a box, put in notebooks, found online then forgot to bookmark site. You name it. With OrganizEat, that has changed. The biggest task for me is taking the time to get all my favorites in notebooks photographed and into the app but that’s ok. These are recipes of my grandmothers, aunts, my mom, friends and mine so they are invaluable to me. Sometimes I go on a small marathon and put in a bunch, other times I put them in as I use them. Online recipes compatible with the app are a piece of cake (or meatloaf or bread get the picture) to upload. I wish there were more online sites that were compatible but there are already a lot and I’m betting that changes over time. In the meantime, I either bookmark them thru the app or print and snap a pic of the recipe to upload. Organizing is a snap. For me, I wanted fewer categories so I hid the ones I didn’t want and created a couple extras. Then, the first word I use for the name of the recipe is the type of food (for example, under the category of Desserts, there are recipes for “Cookies:”, then the name of the recipe such as “Chocolate Chip Cookies”, or “Pie: Pecan Pie”). By grouping them, they can all be in the same category but they will be grouped so you see all Cookie recipes together, all Pie recipes together, all Cake, all Muffins, etc. I love that. I don’t have to remember which category some of the more oddball recipes are in and I can see ALL kinds of choices under each category if I’m undecided about exactly what type of recipe I want to use. Being able to put in my own notes is wonderful as well. I like to make notes on variations on the recipe we liked, substitute ingredients that work, etc. This app works great for me!
  • Great app

This is a great app with a clean user friendly interface. The developers are very responsive. We emailed a couple of suggestions and received a response within a day every time (even Christmas Day).
