How pathetic is this. 3 years ago I bought this app for 7 dollars and then I don’t use it for a few month and now I have to pay for the eq what kind of bs is this
  • Need an Android app!!

It's weird writing this from my iPad on the appstore complaining that there is no Android support. I also own box on my iMac. I don't see why we can't have an Android app either. I'm not interested in buying an iPhone at all. Also at least make a native iPad app too! When I find an Android alternative you can believe I'll be jumping to that instead of this. Years ago the devs even said there would be an Android app too. Never got one.
  • BEWARE!!

After spending several hours uploading my iTunes music library, streaming to my iPhone doesn’t work: Songs often fail to start at all, and once starting, drop out after a few seconds of playback. This is under conditions where streaming from Spotify and Tidal works fine. During the first week of my subscription, the Vox website was down for 4 days and I was unable to download the player to my laptop and couldn't reach customer service. I asked for a refund less than a week into a 2-year subscription. When the company finally responded, they wrote there were no refunds, period, and they deleted my complaints posted to their forum. Is this the sort of company you want to do business with? If not, avoid this service. UPDATE TO REVIEW AFTER DEVELOPER RESPONSE: The developer's friendly, cheerful reply to my review is disingenuous: When I asked for a refund less than a week into a 2-year subscription, they flatly refused. Their lossless streaming service doesn't work on my iPhone. I checked again yesterday, and it still doesn't work. My original review stands.
  • Almost perfect

I hope Vox reads this because their desktop app is perfect but their mobile app is almost perfect. I love everything about it and still giving it 5 stars except, I wish there was a 10 band eq rather than the 4 and 5 on the mobile apo. I pay for premium and the desktop app has it but if that mobile app gets it then it'll be prefect. Hopefully in a future update? Either way best music player out there by far.
  • Very bad update

Very bad update when you force the customer to subscribe if they want to have a very very basic feature, EQ. Bad developers. Edit: sorry for saying that I keep review still stand. Go for foobar app for free. I would like to pay but not for basic: equalizer. Thanks
  • Take a note from Roon, needs DSD support

A clean nice app for audiophiles. The current pricing scheme (89 dollars for 2 years) is FAIR. Not sure why so much complaining. What Vox needs is: 1. Give detailed album information, see Roon. 2. Lyric support is needed. 3. Implement software based DSD decoding so I can play my dsf music files. 4. WORK ON THE MAC APP. It’s nowhere near good enough. Again, see Roon. Or Audirvana. The single side panel pane is ridiculously small and anemic. Doesn’t focus enough on the music. Too many unnecessary elements. Otherwise, solid effort. Keep improving. Keep the good value price. I like it.
  • Takes forever to start up the app

Really fantastic UI and amazing service, but it takes forever to sync my music in the VOX Cloud and the app is unusable and unresponsive for a full 5 minutes before I can do anything.
  • More bands EQ

This app used to be good before it turned into subscription only. Extremely expensive if you just want to use the eq.
  • Great all in one music

Great way to integrate library and soundcloud. Hopefully they’re working on a way to integrate Mixcloud as well. It’s user friendly and easy to use.
