"I love Pzizz... Best I've used by a mile" - J.K. Rowling "Let me tell you, if you do have trouble sleeping, try it, because it really works." -His Royal Highness, The Duke of York “Give Pzizz a try! Love that app and helps me fall asleep or nap on command.” -Daniel Weinard, Co-founder of Shopify Featured in The New York Times, WIRED, Engadget, Gizmodo, Product Hunt, Lifehacker, Mashable, Newsweek, Sports Illustrated and more! PRESS MENTIONS “…Hibbert credits the app for helping cure his insomnia and diminish his postgame dependence on Ambien.” – NBA Star Roy Hibbert speaking to Sports Illustrated “That night, I nestled under my covers, downloaded the full version of Pzizz and turned it on… I was out before 20 minutes had passed and haven't looked back since.” - Jenna Wortham, New York Times “Pzizz helps you get to sleep faster and get more restful sleep with a combination of soothing sounds and voice cues aimed at helping you relax, destress, and get to sleep. In my experience, it works really well.” - Adam Pash, Lifehacker HOW IT WORKS Using the latest clinical research (see our website for in-depth details), the app's patented system plays you "dreamscapes"— a sleep-optimized mix of music, voiceover, and sound effects that change each night, to quickly quiet your mind, put you to sleep, keep you asleep, and then wake you up feeling refreshed. If you want to sleep better at night or take incredible power naps during the day, this is the app for you! All you have to do is listen to Pzizz. Headphones/earbuds are recommended for optimal effectiveness, but your built-in phone speaker will work too. NAP MODULE Napping has been proven to enhance performance, alertness, and improve your mood. Customize your naps with our specially designed nap narrations. Get rid of that groggy feeling and improve your energy levels. FOCUS MODULE The focus module is music designed to help you get more work done. Built around ‘focuscapes,’ environments of sound that help you get in the zone and be productive, backed by the same thorough research we use to create our dreamscapes. Each focuscape has a ‘focus’ section which gets you into full concentration and a ‘cooldown’ section which brings you back out gently. Pzizz - Sleep, Nap, Focus App Reviews

  • 4.5 stars!!!

    By mvsjgfvhdd
Wow. Pzizz is a really good app. Most sleep sound apps are essentially useless unless you pay. However, Pzizz is good for all users, whether or not you pay. I am thrilled with the selection. The sounds are very calming and help me sleep. The alarm in the morning is soothing (it gradually gets louder and more intense) and helps me feel happy to start the day. Also, i like how the snooze only goes for 5 minutes. It’s a nice in between time and i’m less likely to hit snooze. However I do have 1 minor complaint. The alarm will go through headphones if you have them plugged in. Normally, I fall asleep with my headphones in. If i forget to unplug them, I can’t hear my alarm and I have slept through it.
  • Used to be excellent

    By I Keep Trying It
This app was once my go-to for sleep, but the quality of the narratives has gone way downhill. Last night I wound up tense and awake from the app because they now use male and female narrators who make no attempt to speak in a soothing tone. Instead of being gently guided through a sleep relaxation medItation, I was given a lecture on sleep by what sounded like university professors with grating voices. The male voice used to be a soothing baritone with a North American accent; now it’s an abrasive-toned tenor with a brusque brogue. My dog’s barking is more soothing! I want my baritone back!!! Unless they do something about the narrators, I’m quitting my subscription to this app.
  • Please try it

I plead with all my friends struggling with sleep to seriously try Pzizz. Use it every night and things will get better. There is a time and place for other types of mindfulness and meditation apps, but sleep is absolutely not that time for me. Pzizz is purely and beautifully focused on falling and staying asleep. My anxious brain anchors onto trying to complete the ‘tasks’ set out in other apps. I would stay awake through the end of those guided exercises, perhaps having meditated, but still brain-on-wide-awake. I have trouble falling asleep and my husband has trouble staying asleep. Pzizz has helped both of us so distinctly improve our sleep it almost makes me want to cry how simple and joyful a solution it was. We now welcome what we call the “Sweet Pzizz Man” into our room every night to take us to glorious Dream Town. Cannot thank you enough for creating this app, Pzizz.
  • LOVE IT!!!

    By Macie J Mercer
I struggle with ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety. Which, in my opinion, is the worst combination of mental illnesses that anyone could have. I was at a point in my life when I basically, in simple terms, was hating life. I couldn’t sleep, eat, or socialize. My eating habits got the point where I was losing weight. I eventually got to the point where I started conflicting self harm, such as picking at my fingers, pulling my hair out, and punching myself in the face. But, eventually, I realized what was going on and decided that I wouldn’t let it happen anymore. So I searched up on the App Store some good meditation apps and this was the first one that came up. So, I downloaded it and used it one night. That next morning, I swear to god, I actually felt like I wanted to socialize with people!!!! When I went to school that day, I basically felt like a whole different person. I made new friends, socialized, and didn’t keep my hood up and head down all day (which was what I usually did at school). So, in simple terms, this app has changed my life, relationships, and my ability to actually sleep through the entire night. If you have read this far, thank you so so so much. It really means a lot 🙏🏻 😊😊😊
  • More male narration please

    By gretel222
Can the guy with the posh accent who does the classic narration please make more? Many of my narrations are female only and say “male voice coming soon”. When?
  • Great App

This really helps me fall asleep at night. Very relaxing. I feel that I sleep better when I use it.
  • Charged me before trial was up

    By Chelmsford Ginger Ale
I also got charged for this app before my trial was up. I never saw the disclaimer saying you needed to cancel before the 7 th day. Why is it free for 7 days if this isn’t the case? I am sure you can work something out with Apple for this not to happen. I purchased this app to write a review for a survey company and had no intention on keeping it for a full year. It does say you can cancel anytime. I ended up contacting Apple and they were happy to help me get a refund. I did not like the app because I needed to wear headphones to listen. My husband didn’t want to listen to this all night every night. I also thought it is to expensive to help you sleep.
  • Great App. Has worked amazingly.

    By iMarcosG
I have tried many apps. Have trouble sleeping all the time because I am always thinking of what I still need to get done. The voice commands really make me get out of my head and focus on trying to sleep. It has worked wonders.
  • Great app

I have insomnia, and classic sleep really helps where nothing before really has. Pzizz is the one I use every night so I can get some rest. The reason for the 4 stars rather than 5 has to do with pricing. I wish that separate packages could be purchased, or there wasn’t an ongoing fee. The price is too much for me to purchase at this time. I do appreciate that Classic is available and realize there are more expensive programs out there.
  • A absolute lifesaver

    By _Sha_dow_
This app is an absolute lifesaver for anyone who wants to get a good nights rest without being disturbed by insomnia or restless thoughts. Personally, I hate how the female voice is not included in the free version and you have to pay to get it. I’m one of those people where I’m only able to listen to female voices when I sleep, and the male voice isn’t working for me. I’m also a broke student who really can’t afford spending $99 a year on a app, so it’s really not working out as well as is could be.
