  • Love this app!

This app went from better to BEST when they added the feature that allows you to save recipes from any site to your NYT Cooking recipe box. Nice work! Makes my NYT subscription with every penny! Thanks!

Have made a TON of 5 star dinners using NYT app... Toss the cookbooks, get this app!
  • Go to recipe app for tasty meals

This app is the first place I go to when researching new recipes or looking for inspiration. The recipes are all from scratch and don’t include any weird, processed ingredients. The recipes are easy to follow and generally excellent.

I have been using the NYT Food website for two years now. I have heaps of wonderful cook books which I use constantly. However the Times Food site has become my ‘go to’ resource when I want a quick idea for dinner or to research an ingredient or recipe. The range of contributing chefs is awesome. I particularly love the comments section for individual recipes which add a whole different dimension of ideas and shortcuts. Everything works too - which isn’t always the case with recipes. I’m a fan!

I love the NYT food section and recipes. I also really liked this app until they started requiring a subscription. As a subscriber to the NYT it’s disappointing that an additional subscription is required for the food app. I get it and understand that the NYT is a business, but still disappointed nonetheless. Deleted the app.
  • Great recipes!

I love many of the New York Times recipes, and this app puts them at my fingertips. I find the recipe comments from other users very helpful, too.
  • I miss some of the old features

I use this app all the time for recipes. It is my go to! But I miss being able to look back at yesterday’s recipe. I miss days sometimes.
