    I use it everyday!
  • Great app, particularly for storing recipes on the web.

I use this all time to store recipes I find on the web. Plus the NYT food writers are among the best so I try a lot of their recipes and they are easy to find and store through this app. Just wish once stored I could sort non NYT recipes into categories. It’sgetting unwieldy.
  • The go to cook book for ideas in my home

I started with the cook app on the NYT when it was first offered and it has been the fall back for many dinners with friends and family as well as for myself. Living alone in a city the presentation of the food and the authenticity of the contributors makes this a great tool for adding a touch of community to a somewhat spartan existence.
  • Needs Account-Level Filtering

Good recipes but I’m unable to set my account to vegetarian so I’m constantly seeing irrelevant recipes unless I manually filter every time I search.
  • App missing many features

The app looks beautiful but it is missing so many features that is a shame. For example searching is woefully inadequate. You can only filter on their predefined tags. Want to only display recipes with video instructions? Out of luck. Want to search for the most viewed recipe? Can’t do that. I would consider these kinds of searches a basic feature for this app.
  • Wonderful!

I like the app, the chefs and the recipes. My only complaint is when I click through from somewhere else, it brings me to the home page vs. the specific recipe even though I have an NYT subscription. Otherwise it would be 5 stars!

Nestled between reality and fantasy, these recipes are both doable and dreamable.

I still love my physical recipe books but NYTCooking is the foundation most of my dinners are built on. Great source of ideas and inspiration. Each contributor has a distinct style of cooking and writing. Find it head and shoulders above other cooking apps/sites.
