OmniFocus for iOS brings the in-depth task management features of a desktop app to your fingertips. With flexible viewing options, location awareness, and on-the-fly task entry from just about anywhere, OmniFocus is the trusted system you need for managing everything in your busy life. Keep track of tasks by project, place, person, or date—with OmniFocus you’ll always have your important information at hand. Whether it’s a shopping list, agenda items to discuss at work, or chores to do at home, whatever you need to do is right there on your iPhone or iPad. OmniFocus' interface was designed from scratch for iOS and organized around your data—your stuff—to make it easier and more natural for you to quickly get ideas into and out of the app, whether you’re using Getting Things Done™ (GTD™) or any other productivity system. It's powerful enough to use on its own, and syncs through the cloud with your other devices running OmniFocus (also available for Mac). Syncs even happen when you’re not actively using OmniFocus, so that your information is ready when you are. STANDARD FEATURES (VIA IN-APP PURCHASE) • Reliable push sync using our free service or your own server. OmniFocus' sync format is encrypted so even if your server is compromised, your data is protected • A flexible hierarchy: keep all your to-dos in one list or use as many levels of Folders, Projects, Groups, and Actions as you need to stay organized • Assign contexts based on location, people, energy level—whatever you'd like to use to organize your to-dos • Plan your day’s errands by listing nearby location-based contexts or viewing them on a map • Today Widget shows you OmniFocus items due today right in Notification Center • Reminders Capture and OmniFocus Mail Drop for entering OmniFocus actions via Siri or services like IFTTT & Zapier via email • Interactive notifications for nearby and due items let you mark complete (or snooze) without even opening the app • Search shows results from the current view or your entire OmniFocus database • Add Photo and Audio attachments right on your device and view file attachments synced from other devices • Forecast row shows you how much is due in the next few days on your Home screen or sidebar; open the Forecast perspective to see your due items alongside events from your iOS Calendar • A dedicated Review perspective makes sure nothing falls through the cracks • View your most important items with a flick of the wrist using OmniFocus on Apple Watch. • Choose between light and dark color palettes, or have OmniFocus automatically adjust as background lighting shifts. • NEW App Lock keeps OmniFocus' interface hidden behind TouchID or a password. • NEW Support for TaskPaper Text and omnifocus:///add and /paste urls lets you automate complicated workflows using apps like Workflow. Starting from a solid, simple user experience, we added Pro features for customizing OmniFocus and making it even more powerful: PRO FEATURES (VIA IN-APP PURCHASE) • Customize the OmniFocus sidebar and Home screen just like you customize your iOS Device's Home screen. • Custom Perspectives: save and revisit custom views for specific tasks or situations: “Show me the chores I can do in five minutes” or “What do I need to follow up on with the people from the planning meeting?” • Display any perspective in Notification Center with the Today Extension Download OmniFocus now and start your free trial! We included a getting started video to help you get up and running, but there's plenty more info on our website. SUPPORT If you have any feedback or questions, we’d love to hear from you! OmniFocus 2 App Reviews

  • Single context limit is serious shortcoming

    By TType
Omnifocus is a complex tool with many attributes. But until they implement multiple contexts, or tags, I do not recommend anyone start down the Omnifocus path. Also, WebDAV syncing can be a lot of work (if you want to keep your data on your server) with limited help from Omni. Mine has been broken for months.
  • The app I like the most

    By auser1111
This is the app I use more than any other. Super useful in many different situations, whether planning a massive website project or just a trip to the store. It always works, always stays in sync and Panic support is excellent if you have questions or any issues. Sincere 5-star review
  • Good, not great

    By Dean Bokhari
I really enjoy the structure OmniFocus provides and how it’s in-line with GTD. But you guys really do need to step it up in the following areas: 1. SYNCING. It simply takes too long. Syncing should be swift and seem-less. Always. 2. NOTIFICATIONS. When I’m reminded of a project I’m working on, I should have more options within the banner notification. Right now, I can choose ‘Snooze’ or ‘Complete’... but what about deferring it until tomorrow? Or being reminded again in an hour? Both of the above are very basic features that should be included in every productivity app, free or paid. I’ve been using OmniFocus on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch for over two years now, and I have seen minimal improvements and updates. OmniGroup, I really hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears, because I know I’m not the only one who’s got these issues. And I also know I’m not the only one who’d love to keep using this product, if only you’d bring it up to speed.
  • This app is the reason I have an iPhone

    By Mbarton98
This is a great tool to manage tasks to avoid forgetting the important items. It syncs well with the Mac version and it has helped me tremendously. If you are confused with how to setup a system, then search for AE Primer and Premium OmniFocus posts to get a good foundation to start with. DevonThink is a great companion application for storing reference material needed for tasks or future interests. I can then use a link between them to jump back and forth as needed.
  • my home base for everything

It has a learning curve to start, but OmniFocus is an intelligently designed system to keep track of all your areas of responsibility. If you’re a GTD practioner, you’ll find all the tools you need to run your system here. If you’re not, you’ll still find tools to organize, plan and, most importantly, DO the tasks you are responsible for. I use OmniFocus on Mac and iPhone, and it syncs perfectly. Wherever I am, all my projects personal and professional are close at hand, tracked in this one system. Support is the best I’ve ever encountered, hands down. Any issues I’ve had over the years have always been resolved quickly. Omnifocus is not cheap, but it’s well worth every penny. And also they’re not jumping on the subscription bandwagon, which I appreciate.
  • Very Satisfied

Been using it for months now. Very powerful and helps me Get Things Done effectively. Have a question though? If I purchased OF2 last year (2017), am I eligible for a free upgrade for Omnifocus 3? Btw, I purchased the Pro Version of IOS and Mac. Thanks!
  • Control your life

    By Ehler4
This has the perfect features to balance all your tasks and actually manage your life without being an app you force yourself to use. Everyone will build their system in OmniFocus a little different. If you buy now, you’ll get an upgrade to version 3 free, which looks even more powerful!
  • Powerful, beautiful, and delightfully simple

    By Cp368
OmniFocus operates on the twin virtues of simplicity and power. And it’s getting a huge upgrade in the next couple of months—custom notifications, tags, collaboration, manual sorting, flexible scheduling, and much more.
  • So much more than a to-do list

    By >>Daryl<<
This is the best tool I’ve seen to track, schedule, and report on everything from small tasks to large projects. Best value on the App Store!
