  • Really Overcast? I mean, come on..

Why would someone plan to remove a feature loved by many? They have to be insane to do that. Where is the progress bar above the collapsible audio player? Please bring it back.
  • Simply a wonderful app

Love this app. I’ve used it for years, and this update makes it much better in many ways. This is of the apps I recommend to people the most.
  • Good

    By Bigkevheck
Not super-customizable, but good basic podcatcher.
  • Good, but lacking

    By llr415
Missing the option to add all episodes of a newly subscribed to podcast which was available on previous versions
  • Top App

Enjoy it even more now that I can easily use on Apple Watch! Update. DOES NOT SYNC WITH WATCH. Shows as transferring ( only if in automatic mode ), but when the supposed transfer reaches 100 %, nothing is in watch. Need reliable programming to work, need to transfer manually ( I don’t want to load up the watch with thirty pods. Try again Marcos, I’m still a premium user and willing to wait for the right app. Apple’s clumsy app can do it and you can too!
  • Used to be great

    By ZelX
This used to be a great app for listening to podcasts. Smart Speed and Voice Boost are excellent features. However, there are some bugs not least of which is it crashing many times a day. Reordering is almost comically bad except it’s more frustrating than funny. If the queue gets to a certain size then it will delete episodes. I don’t know if he means this as a feature or not but if so, he should let you know which ones were removed. Then there is the directory. Marco, you should be ashamed of yourself. Just because you don’t agree with the content doesn’t mean you get to decide if people can listen. This is no different than burning books or trashing Beatles records.
  • Please fix...

I’ve used this app for about two years & loved it. But lately it’s been crashing at random a lot. I’m currently trying out a few new podcast apps Spotify is ok and pocket is kinda meh...I’d love to stick to Overcast. Please fix. I’m currently running iOS 12. Problem began about 3 weeks ago. Thx
  • App still crashes

Not a fan of the top search bar that you added to the main page. If I had known that I would not have updated.. Not only does it look hideous, its not something I've ever needed. So change it back, or give an option to hide it please. And with this new update there is a bug: when I pull down to refresh my podcasts I don't see the busy rotating circle anymore, it's just blank and looks weird and the search bar drops down and stays down, it's really weird. I can send screenshots if you need. But overall the top search bar refreshing feels aesthetically appalling. Please give me the option to hide this unneeded top search bar, thank you!
  • Best Podcast App on iOS

    By JAGibbs
Version 5.0 of Overcast is the best podcast player on iOS. It nicely balances opinionated design and user choice. The interface is clean and intuitive and Siri Shortcuts support is the icing on the cake. It’s great.
  • It was great...

Until this last version, this has been my podcast app of choice, and has been consistently superb. However, this last version popped up a demand to accept their privacy terms. That would have been OK if I had internet access at the time or if the dialog could have been cancelled. This dialog made the app utterly useless until I got home. PLEASE fix this, and do NOT assume that everyone always has internet access. Try your apps on a cruise ship when internet access might be a dollar a minute, intermittent, and dialup seem fast.My common usage is to download whenI have internet access, and then listen to podcasts when I do not have internet access. Other than this one major problem, this is a 5 star app.
