HondaLink App Reviews

  • Honda Accord Touring 2.0 2018

    By AceAcey
Worked ok for a few months. Now no longer updates information. Subscription prices are way too high for remote start (that’s all I want to keep). Went to dealership and they said my phone is defective (lol) for failing to HondaLink information.
  • Fire your app team. Worthless.

I never understand why big brands spend so little resources on app development. This current bureau of this app is an absolute waste of time. Build something that your customers love. Honda owners already love your cars why not continue the same effort in making something that has a useful set of features. - no support for 2018 Pilot Elite other than track mileage. For example you use the remote start via the app (after we were told by a salesman it was possible) -the app will not refresh. Ever. -no push notifications. At least I can mark the location where I parked my car 😆
  • Uninstall Immediately

Unsure if this app or the app launcher was on my phone, I’ve deleted all HondaLink apps. I couldn’t drive 10 minutes without a reset or the GPS unable to navigate or accurately locate itself. After my dealer REPLACED my GPS (I have a 2016 EX-L Nav) and we went a few rounds with Honda’s technology support we narrowed the cause to an app on our phones. Guess which one was the culprit? 😡
  • Unreliable app

    By Jahmay Khan
Why doesn’t this app update either via Bluetooth or when it is connected via cable to the car? It is now December and the app on my phone still has data from October. Oil life on the car is 60% but the app has 90%. Really?
  • Refuses my login credentials. Useless.

    By hatethis eorthlessapp
I reset my password. Nope. Delegates and reinstalled app. Nope. Created a new account and tried to login to the app. Nope. Website let’s me login but not app. It’s wasting my life!!!!!! Insanely bad product. Never able to use.
  • Honda link stinks

    By mezzajon
I’m assuming my review will get deleted if I use the language I wanted to use but honestly this app is the biggest piece of garbage and Honda should fire whoever signed off on this app. I’ve spent weeks attempting to get this working with my 2017 Honda clarity. It worked for a few months now it sends codes to my car but then refuses to work. Absolute total garbage of an app. Honda should be embarrassed.
  • Great Idea, Terrible Implementation

    By TesterBob
Honda, or the third party developer they paid, have a lot of work to do. Basic features don’t consistently work. (Which vary by vehicle, but these features don’t seem to vary in not working if you read other reviews!) Initial setup was problematic when it came time to activate/verify my new Honda, but spontaneously worked when I tried again the next day. Yes, there are some crazy people on here that don’t realize that their 2001 Civic won’t magically get remote start - but don’t let that detract from the numerous other reviews detailing actual issues with this half-baked app.
  • Horrifyingly bad.

    By DannyHarryhan
Poorly implemented considering this is 2018. Honda do you not know by now that car is nothing but a computer on wheels. Software is everything.
  • Remote start

So you can not remote start a 2017 crv with this app? If so, how?
  • Very basic and unreliable

    By IIDX
This review is of the app when used with a clarity plug in hybrid. The app has only basic functionality to interact with the car. You cannot lock/unlock the car with this app and only can see basic charging information. It also does not allow you to see your trip history or efficiency data. The charging information only displays the input voltage, but not current or rate of charge. It also does not give you an ETA of when charging will be completed at the current rate, or a graph of the rate of charge. It is very unreliable to update, and sometimes it will not update the car’s status for hours at a time, even though there is good cell service at the cars location.
