The app also operates as a convenient link to download compatible apps onto your iPhone. These apps include the HondaLink Navigation App, the HondaLink Aha App (entertainment), the HondaLink App (vehicle information) and now the iHeartRadio App for Auto (US Only). The apps can work either in standalone mode (for use when not driving) or when connected to Honda vehicles equipped with the HondaLink-ready technology. NOTE: Use of HondaLink apps in the vehicle requires an HDMI cable connector, Apple lightning adapter, and Bluetooth® HandsFreeLink® connection. See or for more information or to order the HondaLink iOS Cable Kit ($99). Some services require use of GPS for location-based content. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

    Crap waste of your time
  • Absolute garbage.

I’d like to think of myself as being very tech savvy, that said, I could not get Honda Link to work. After downloading three apps- Launcher, Link, and aha (2015 Honda CRV) which is absolutely ridiculous to use Honda Link, the connection is slow to start using. I’m glad I didn’t purchase the $59 navigation app. Sadly though I wasted about an hour trying to make this system work, which it never performed to what it should have. Aha streamed music without having visual information on the Honda Vehicle screen- pointless to still have to use phone to use app. Link was extremely limited and crashed numerous times. I love Honda, but the Honda Link system is pointless.
  • Pairing doesn’t work in the app

    By Vector Guy
Countless hours trying to get this app to work. Phone is paired, app says that pairing is required. I don’t know how much more paired I can get. Customer service at Honda was clueless. Promised to call back. Never did.
  • Like the Navigation app

My 2015 CRV EXL now has on-screen navigation. It works better than I thought too. While not as capable as Apple Car Play it’s much better than trying to navigate off a phone app.
  • Doesn’t work

Mirroring most of the other reviews, it doesn’t work for my 2016 CRV. Frustrating!
  • These Apps are GARBAGE!!!

    By Simplyme6017
It looks cheap on the car screen. The display is very small on the screen. It doesn’t respond very well to touch screen when trying to look at something else within the HondaLink app. And lastly, the options are few. I spent money buying a HDMI cord to hook up to my phone/car for this mess. I am very disappointed. Honda, you should be ashamed of yourself....treating your customers this way. If you aren’t going to do it right, THEN DON’T DO IT AT ALL!!!
  • Junk

This app is useless. Don’t waste your time.
  • Frustrating app that hijacks your phone

    By guardianmom
Whether you’re on a safari page or typing an email or text, the minute you turn on the engine the Honda app takes over and you have to hit dismiss, which takes you to your home screen and then you can reopen what you were doing. Do you really need to see your tire pressure 15 times a day? I want an app that I can open when I want to see the info.
  • Honda Connect

    By MixerGamer
When trying to download Honda Connect from the HondaLink app it says cannot connect to App Store so this is kinda point less
  • Could be much better

    By GreginJax
I have owned many different vehicle and almost all had a more comprehensive app than the Honda. Really Honda, how much would it cost to improve this app?
