Newton Mail App Details

Newton is a subscription-based service that supercharges your email with power features like Read Receipts, Snooze, Send Later, Undo Send, Sender Profile, Connected Apps and more across iPhone, iPad, iPad Pro, Apple Watch and Mac. Comes with a 14-day free trial. Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99/yr. That’s about $4/mo for something that you use dozens of times everyday. Works with Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail/Outlook, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and all IMAP accounts. **Newton Mail now has a companion - Newton Calendar. Download the app, and all your events/calendars will sync automatically. Works with Google and Exchange (EWS) calendars.** *What Happens After 14 Days* Power features like Read Receipts, Tidy Inbox, Send Later & more stop working. Email sync will also stop and the experience will continue to degrade further. *Sign Up Once, Use Everywhere* Your Newton account is your key to all things Newton. Use it to instantly access your email anytime, across ALL your devices - be it iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch or Mac. Email preferences & settings are synced magically on every device, without having to set up your account all over again. *Why Newton is the only email app you need* ● Read Receipts - Get read-status for every email you send. Also get notified as soon as the email is read. Know exactly who read your email with individual mail tracking. ● Send Later - Schedule emails to be sent later and have them delivered to the recipient’s inbox at just the right moment. Also, you can stop the scheduled email if the recipient sends a mail in between. ● Tidy Inbox - Focus on emails that matter. Weed out newsletters and social media emails to another folder and make your inbox distraction-free. Think Gmail tabs for all email accounts. ● Sender Profile - Know more about the people who email you. Get job titles, organisation info, location, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter profiles & more. ● Snooze - Set your emails to come back to Inbox at a more convenient time. Snooze emails, not productivity. ● Connected Apps - Finish your workflow without leaving your email. Add important emails to your favorite productivity apps like Todoist, Evernote, OneNote, Pocket, Trello, Wunderlist, Instapaper & more. ● Undo Send - Pull back that email blunder you just sent. Especially useful when you’re on mobile and need to reply in a hurry. ● Instant push notifications for ALL types of email - Gmail, Hotmail/Outlook, Exchange, Yahoo Mail, iCloud, Google Apps, Office 365 and any IMAP account. ● Save attachments to your favorite cloud storage service like Google Drive, Box, Dropbox, OneDrive etc. with ease. But wait...there’s more! - 2-factor authentication - One-click Unsubscribe - Custom Inbox Swipes - iPad Pro support - Handoff - HTML signatures - Email Aliases - Print emails - Turn on/off Conversations - Touch ID - Easy on battery and data - Custom Folder Sync - Spotlight Search - Interactive Notifications - 3D Touch - Remote Wipe - Passcode Lock - Unified Inbox - Available in all major languages Newton is available as an in-app subscription for $49.99 per year. • You have to pay.

The fact that you have to pay, needs to be WAY more obvious on the App Store page, than it is right now.
  • 2 stars

It does send you read receipts with notifications, which is what I downloaded it for. But after realizing I didn’t really need it for $50 a year, I’m trying to find the cancel free trial and I can’t find it anywhere. I’ve even checked the FAQ’s and googled it. Clearly they make it so hard to find so that they can just charge you subscription price once the trial ends, and just for doing con artisty things like that, you get a 2
  • A Must Have

I’ve tried so many different Email apps and there really isn’t anything close to this. Absolutely worth the money for the amazing functionality that this app offers.
  • A wonderful, wildly expensive app.

    By dr.o
I love the app itself no real complaints on functionality other than not telling me how many emails are stacked in a thread. Price is the real killer. I understand why SaaS is required; a perpetual license simply won’t work anymore if you want a company to keep up with their product. But there are multiple other options that are still a perpetual license and offer 90% of the functionality Newton does. I don’t care Newton is SaaS, I’ll pay an annual fee, but when your annual fee is 3x+ higher than the competitors one time fee it’s a bit unreasonable. It’s unfortunate really because it is a great app and I love using it but the pricing is so absurd it’s almost insulting to users.
  • What a joke, many better email apps for free

    By Sundaeluv
People complain about the 1% being rich, well they didnt get that way by paying $49.99 for email when there are so many free ones. I’ll invest that thank you along with all the other app money I save by not doing what other people are by wasting their money on apps.
  • A lot has changed since this was CloudMagic

I’ve used the earlier free version as my main email app, and was disappointed when this went paid. I moved on to other alternatives. A month back, I decided to give Newton mail a try. I was pleasantly surprised as the app worked well for me. I know there are alternatives that have similar functionality, and I’ve tried them. For some reason, I found Newton to be smoother than any of them. I really like that I can use it across all my devices and it syncs well. The low priority filter is a big help if you believe in inbox zero. Snooze, send later, read receipts, Evernote and Todoist integration works well too. There are some areas where it can improve but I’m happy to continue with this one longer. The calendar app seems promising too. . I deducted one star for the high price. But overall I’m happy with what I have. Hope the developers can keep the app simple, functional and fast as it is now
  • Simple, intuitive, fun

I love the simplicity of the interface, and the intuitive flow of the tool. I don't have to second-guess how to use it's many different functions. I'm always right on the first try. It has honestly made me look forward to checking my email and made me feel much more in control of my inbox…. and my life.
  • Needs sync fixing

    By markbyrn
I have Newton on multiple devices and platforms (iOS, Android, Window, Mac) - that's the reason I use and pay for the service. Unfortunately, there's a problem with delayed syncing across all those devices, esp. if I don't use a particular device for a day or two (regardless if it's iOS, Android, Mac, Windows.) It can take minutes to sync or even fail to fully sync unless I close and re-open the app to force another sync attempt. Tech support says it's a known problem but the problem seems to have gotten worse over time. Hopefully, they can resolve it soon.
  • Super awesome app!!

I just love this app. Immediete email notifications and read receipts are awesome!!
  • Good service, but Apple Watch app is pointless

    By wfs1977
Newton’s biggest advantages for me are read receipts and easy sign-in for multiple devices. However, the Apple Watch app is worthless. There’s no standalone support on Series 3 LTE, and you can’t read an entire long message when paired to your iPhone. I see no advantage the AW app brings apart from notifications (which the Apple Watch would show without its own app). Considering how expensive a Newton subscription is, I’d expect a flawless experience.
