  • I’m up and down over it

    When I say up and down, I mean my weight just keeps going up and down 6 lbs for the last five weeks on this program. I don’t believe the food portion is built for the super obese but the psychological portion is very good and is helping me get a better relationship with food. I’m torn, so review is in the middle.

    I’m a 67 year old man that for the last 20 years has been about 40 pounds overweight. I have tried darn near everything to lose weight and while I have been able to lose weight at times it always comes back because the “diet”has never held my interest long enough to become sustainable. Newman has been monumentally informative about the science behind weight loss and has given me strategies to gradually change the behaviors that have made me overweight. I’m as excited and interested after four weeks as I was on day one.

    They renewed my subscription without any warning. And it’s not a monthly fee it’s a full 4 months with no option to cancel and prorate the fee. I caught it the day the charge went pending and they still wouldn’t do anything. Very disappointed and feel a little cheated . I would have continued month to month but now I’m just annoyed.

    I think the program is really great and I am feeling success in developing some healthy habits. I do have a suggestion for the app. I wish there were 3 things that could light up each day. I like how the checkmark turns green when you’ve logged your meals, maybe there could be a gold circle behind it that would light up when you’ve read all the articles for that day, and something else that would visually represent getting the steps in. It seems to me those are the three key accountability things app related so a visual cue would be helpful. Also it would be cool if you could look at a 30, 60, 90 day trend of foods in each category, steps, etc. I think a longer term visual other than weight would be meaningful to participants, since it is about changing lifestyles.

    Hi! Really enjoying the program and app. There IS one thing that drives me crazy (in a bad way). When I want to go back and review my meals, I open meal logging, click the meal, review/edit, click done, and it takes me completely out of the meal logging. Would love an enhancement that allows you to click done and be returned back to the meal screen so you can click another meal to add/review/edit. This is helpful when logging more than one meal at a time or when you are trying to plan your meals ahead of time and going into many meals. Thanks!!

  • Seem to have charge me before the end of the trial. And Useless for people who have mobility issues

    The first thing you’re supposed to do in this program is complete a number of steps. I am on able to walk for long periods of time due to epidermolysis billows. So completely useless In addition it seems as if they have charged me before my trial has ended

    I love NOOM! I feel like I finally have tools and support to walk thru my weight loss journey ! I love look forward each day to the information provided .. it’s like a nutrition class every day .. it’s also fun and funny ! Great program. Blows ww out of the water.
