  • Can’t upload anything? Troublesome glitch

    By fletcherae
This app is the one I use to make my animations, but recently it won’t let me upload anything, I’m in this cycle of “Videoshop wants you to sign in to google” or something to that effect. I agree. I try to upload, and it starts from square one. Is there any way to fix this? I’ve tried deleting and redownloading and even resetting my iPad And now that I’ve delete the app, pro version is gone. I can understand if I decided to delete it because I didn’t want it, but this is not anything I could’ve prevented. I couldn’t have done anything else differently, and even if I had written a review earlier, I still haven’t gotten a response.

  • Great Customer Service

I used to have access to pro features after purchasing the pro version in the past and when I had to restore my phone and reinstall app it seemed to have been removed. All I had to do was email them with this description and account info and they quickly made sure I had access to this great app again. Thank you!
  • Ahhh!! So annoyed

    By Mariagia
I absolutely loved this app! Notice the past tense... loved. If I can remember, I think I bought this app for about 5-7 dollars about six or seventh months ago! I used it nonstop and I was really pleased! However, with the new update you have to pay for a subscription! I already bought the app for MONEY and I HAD access to all the pro features. Now, however, I’m locked out of a lot of the features that I used to really enjoy!!! Don’t get me wrong, if you’re willing to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a subscription to an EDITING APP, then I think you’ll love it! However I will certainly not be paying any money to subscribe to this app, after I already bought it! I know the subscription price isn’t too ridiculous, however I already purchased it, and this isn’t an editing app for a real movie producer!! Seriously hope they consider reverting back to the old ways!
  • Back at it after a year video hiatus- and WOW!!

    By Ken.E.
I revisited my old fave, Videoshop, after 2 years of not doing any video work. I had left a 5* review at that time, but can’t find the verbal part of it. I’ll have to post this separately. SUMMARY: This developer deserves a 10* review on TWO counts (that’s 20* ;-) )... FIRST of all, I note the move to the subscription model while I was gone. I never understood the “buy once” approach (except for the simplest of applications that have a clear and point to development). “Buy once-and-forever” is not sustainable in the long run. For a company to thrive and have the resources to develop bigger and better, it needs a strong base that delivers recurring income. However, as we see more and more apps finally figure this out and move to subs, we see that most of them screw their original “paid-once” supporters by forcing them to subscribe or end up with a crippled app. It is unethical to do that to those who supported them financially during the early days. Another version of this is when an app releases an “entirely new, revolutionary model” - forcing the user to pay again - that is just a tricky form of “slow-release” subscription because there is nothing to stop them from doing the same thing over and over again SO, WITH THAT SAID, WE OWE VIDEOSHOP A HUGE THANK YOU FOR HONORING THE ORIGINAL UNDERSTANDING by grandfathering those of us who showed faith in them early on, giving them the initial cash flow to grow. The developer is basically telling us, “thank you very much for your initial support.” This is a company that I will stick with for future apps, never worrying about doing the wrong thing by his/her customers. (And my guess is that their next app will start out as a subscription. ;-) ) SECOND, When I was doing video 2 yrs ago, I was using a second video app (LumaFusion) for some of my edits. I remember liking it almost as much as VideoShop. The fact is that I was a bit of a video junkie and have tried every high-quality video app in the store. Nothing else came close to the combination of VS’s usability and power This time around, when I took a look at both of them again, I was absolutely staggered by the amount of really useful features that VideoShop has released. I (almost) feel guilty about getting all that new development for free. It is certainly worth much more than the current subscription price. It is a full-bodied video editor now. And now that they have moved to a sub model, we can all be confident that they will have the cash flow to continue to make video shop ever-stronger. But here is the really cool part… I have a bad memory and normally have to re-learn things from scratch after not touching them for two years. With Videoshop I was totally comfortable almost from the get go, working with it and finishing an edit of light to medium sophistication within 90 minutes. It was pretty cool how things just seemed to come back to me. When I try to do the same thing with the other software, I was totally lost. What does this mean?... Not only is their functionality outstanding, VideoShop’s UI is the best. It’s a lot of fun editing video when you very quickly get comfortable with the tools and can come up with a creative little implementations - rather than constantly having to figure out “just one more thing.” Thanks very much to the folks at Videoshop for both your integrity and excellence. You are all 20* in my books. Here’s to many years of your continued success.
  • The Best Video Editing App!

    By Vulcanova
I had spent money on the app before, and I no longer had the pro version once it updated. However, after getting a very quick response from them after emailing, I was able to get back all of the features that were once there! Over all this app is amazing when it comes to video editing, and the dev team is very active with their community. I’m able to compile videos for projects, edit memes, and make anything i put my mind to!

This is such an easy app to use and I can do whatever I want to edit my videos! It has a temporary watermark at the top, if you didn’t buy pro. The cool thing about the watermark is that it goes away after a few seconds, and won’t stay throughout ur whole video. You can change the speed, put in text, (Including size, font, and emojis) you can even trim. There are tons of different filters you can use to make your videos look really nice! There’s even more! This app is easy to use and doesn’t take long to learn how to control it. I think, that you can even make your video longer than 20 minutes! It’s all I could ever need to use, and more.
  • Paid in the past, have to pay again???

    By 7DDlove68
I bought this app forever ago during vine days to make fun little videos to post. I was so happy with this app & even continued using this app after vine was shut down so I continued making fun videos for Instagram & etc until one day, i tried making a video & it randomly had a watermark & it tried to make me go pro to remove it. If I paid for this app in the past, why do I have to pay even more money to go pro :/ rip my fav editing app
  • Pro ?

    By Zaynmadeitrain
I’ve been using this app for a while now and had pro before. I got a new phone and all of the sudden I’m not pro anymore? Please fix this.
