Great app I always recommend to everybody, I travel a lot and that is how I communicate with everyone. Make sure you up your credit before you travel because I was far away from home once and the credit card I had on file recognized I was not at my home country and blocked my purchase at the Skype app. Great service great and clear calls

Been using Skype for years. If the WiFi connection is good the service is good.

Skype does a good job at what is was made for, calling people (either voice or video), but, I really want/need to change my username because it’s childish (it was made a long time ago). PLEASE let people change their usernames!!!

When you’ve got a Smart phone, the best app to get is Skype! It keeps kids visually-connected to their friends, parents, AND (more importantly!} their grandparents! Closest thing to being there! ❤️❤️❤️

Previous versions actually worked. I don’t know what they’re doing over at Microsoft, but they’ve effectively destroyed Skype. I can’t connect with anyone because it disconnects them as soon as they try to answer my calls -but then doesn’t show anything on my end: It just keeps ringing. When someone calls me, it answers on my phone and not my ipad. I had to log out of my phone -and even then it won’t ring on my ipad. I’ve logged out and in, uninstalled and re-installed; nothing. I’m also not the only one experiencing these issues. Beyond the broken nature of the app, the UI was changed and now it’s less intuitive. I feel like an idiot trying to figure out where everything is. Bad UX assumptions were made and this has all contributed to an increasingly horrible user experience. I’m beyond frustrated with this app, but my relatives still use it. I’m searching for a replacement and will force people to migrate if they want to get in touch with me. This bridge is burned.
  • Workable phone alternative

We have good service with Skype from Mexico worldwide as long as the internet connection is fast enough. A slow connection lags and may not work. Convenient and cheap we use it often.

I have been using Skype for years now, and I finally downloaded the app on my iPad. I entered my email and it asked me if I wanted to use my Skype name or Microsoft account. I pressed Microsoft account and it took me to another screen. I entered my email and password but it keeps saying that there is a problem signing in. It says there is a network problem and that I should try again later. Please fix this problem!!!

I love using this, it has been a life-saver a lot of times, when I was not able to use my phone.
