App Reviews

  • Map features

Would be nice if the map zoom worked with one hand (tap and drag)
  • I use to love this app

    By chazubell
What with the last few updates to both this app and to iOS the application keeps on dying while I am using it. I would start my run and by the time I reached the half mile point I wouldn’t hear any indication and I would look at the iPhone screen and not see the little blue bar at the top of the display. I knew at that point that Strava had stopped working and it would need to be restarted. This happened several times over the last few days and it is far too frustrating and annoying so I have moved on to other running apps. I had submitted a previous bug report which was to update my iPhone to the latest version of iOS (which I did) however that did not fully fix the problem. By the wayI had already paid for a subscription.
  • Don’t spam me with notifications, just track my runs.

    By btr117789
I just want to keep track of my runs, not join a social network. Don’t spam notifications asking if I know x or y for weeks on end.
  • Route planning?

    By Jdram
It’s frustrating when attempting to explore new riding routes on the website you cannot view the route with directions on both the site or app. There’s just a map of the route. It would be great to have an actual route explorer with directions on the app versus segments. How can I enjoy the respective route you’re proposing if I can’t actually follow it??
  • Having issues

    By Jobugdoodle
The app has worked really well up until this week. It will track my runs perfectly, but when I save them it does not save the whole run, only half. I’m not sure if it’s in the app or the iPhone update. Just be aware and keep a close eye on it if you like to keep accurate times.
  • Feed debacle has ruined it

    By GW78
Used to enjoy Strava and use it a lot, since the update to the feed and no option to view chronologically, it’s a mess. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
  • Love it

    By Scubachic11
I love using Strava as a mountain biker. It’s great at keeping track of distance and PRs and weekly totals. It pushes you to do better. As a hiker, I’m not as happy with it. It keeps track of distance and elevation but doesn’t give me my weekly totals.
  • Seems accurate but need real-time map support

    By tvieso
For Apple Watch 3: Accuracy seems legit but I did run a marathon recently where the distance was off by an entire mile, which is concerning. All of my other runs have been comparable to my old Garmin data logs though. Please add real-time mapping. This would be a game changer for those without the cellular version of the watch.
  • Bring back chronological

    By nora tamer
I’m seriously mourning the loss of what used to be a great app. Lack of a chronological feed is disorientating and counterintuitive. Contrary to what I believe Strava’s intent was for creating this monstrosity, I now spend a lot less time looking at my feed. Strava is not and should not be Instagram or Facebook. STOP THE INSANITY PLEASE.
  • Another “major release” (23.0), still not chronological.

    By RunGooseRun
Used to be the best-i-class tracking app for athletes. Feed is cluttered and out of order. Still not listening and to their users. Becoming less and less useful with every release. Why is every update a “major release”?
