Disneyland Lines from TouringPlans.com App Details

LINES will help you save time and money during your Disneyland trip. Because we’re independent travel writers, we can tell you what Disney can’t, from actual waits in line, to which park will be less crowded every day of your trip. LINES features include: -Both Disney’s currently posted wait time at every attraction and how long you’ll REALLY wait in line, based on our experience and that of thousands of families on the same ride. -New “Ride Now” and “Wait to Ride” recommendations to show whether waits are going up or down at your favorite rides. -Customized step-by-step touring plans for both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. You tell LINES which rides you want to see, and LINES will create a step-by-step itinerary showing when to go to each ride to avoid long lines. You can even change your plans while you’re in the park! -A Crowd Calendar showing you how busy each park will be over the next ten days. -Disney’s official app doesn’t show you the waits for many attractions or character greetings. LINES has wait times for more rides, shows, and character greetings than even Disney’s own app. -See which rides still have FASTPASS ride reservations for the rest of the day. This is incredibly useful if you’re trying to plan your afternoon and evening, if you want to know whether FASTPASS is available at Splash Mountain after your nap, or if trying to decide which park to go to after dinner. -Ask questions and get fast answers from our online community of 120,000 Disney experts. -Menus and prices for every restaurant, kiosk, food stand, and cart in all of Disneyland Resort – more than 6,000 things to eat! Every menu is searchable – you can find every steak in California Adventure or throughout the parks, Downtown Disney, and the official Disneyland Resort Hotels! Our Disney trip planning tools have been featured in USA Today, the New York Times, FOX News and dozens of other newspapers, magazines, television and radio shows. Since 1986, we’ve helped more than 3 million families plan their Disney vacations. Note: Some LINES features, such as the crowd calendar and wait times, require an in-app subscription purchase to access. Other LINES features, such as customized touring plans, menus, and viewing chat forums, are completely free. Your in-app subscription includes 365 days of access to TouringPlans.com, the Web’s most popular subscription-based site for Disney trip planning.

Disneyland Lines from TouringPlans.com App Reviews

  • Was helpful when it was working

    By JosieDawn
This app was helpful the first two days of our trip but then the “optimize” feature quit working, making the entire thing pointless. So I spent money on something that ultimately didn’t even work. Pretty frustrating. If it would have worked the way it was the first two days I used it I would have given a 5 star rating.
  • May look ugly, but works with data accuracy

    By Mikeg112
After reading the article on popular Science, it made me appreciate how the app may not look the prettiest, but it gets the job done with data driven iteniarieres and updates! It has helped me make the best days out of going to Disneyland, totally worth the subscription price many times over!
  • Highly Inaccurate

    By MamaThrivesOnChaos
I bought the subscription because this was highly raved about always being accurate on wait times and crowd index. WRONG!! We’ve visited 3 times in the last 2 weeks and every time the crowds were much higher than predicted and the wait times were highly inaccurate. Our last visit was supposed to be a 4/10 and the crowds were more like 8/10 like they are on a Saturday in Peak season. I’ll stick to the free apps because they are much more accurate. Don’t waste your money on the app, buy a churro instead.
  • The touring plans are great but ...

    By Batken
My wife and I got to Disneyland Park at 12:30pm on a day we planned to get there before the 8:00am opening time. Life interfered. We had fun judging the accurate wait times for various attractions displayed on this app, saw displayed Fast Pass return times, and was able to plan accordingly. We had a blast! Next time we went, we used a personalized touring plan and we saved hours waiting in line. Bless you web designer Len Testa. I also love your Disneyland and Walt Disney World Unofficial Guide Books. I know what you're wondering. You ask "If you love us so much, why 4 stars and not 5?" Now that I live in Los Angeles, I became an Annual Pass holder. It allows me to hop between parks. Your personalized touring plans doesn't have the option of designing a plan that would mesh Disneyland Park and Disney's California Adventure together for a one-day two-park plan. That would be so helpful. I am also going to nitpick, but I probably wouldn't have taken a star away for this. On your list of attractions to ride, along with listing each Disneyland Railroad Station separately, you should also have a one circuit around the park choice too. "Thanks for riding and enjoy the rest of your stay at the Disneyland Resort.."
  • Crowd level predictions are wrong 100% of the time

    By a6261
Don’t do the subscription service. Crowd levels are always wrong. I had it for 3 years and averaged 3 Disneyland trips a year and the crowd levels they predicted were way off EVERY TIME. Not some of the time, but every single time. I know because I would go into their Historical crowd level section where they show actual vs predicted and they were way off on each of my trips. The paid subscription service for crowd levels is worthless. Worthless
  • Great app

    By HappyTexGal
I have used this company for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Disneyland. Very pleased will all they have to offer.
  • Absolutely Loved It

    By Littleallred008
I used this during my last trip to Disneyland and it was incredible. I used it in combination with Ridemax and the Disneyland app. I would use Ridemax to make a general plan for the day, and use this to look at wait times throughout the day to fit extra things in. I would always check the Fastpass return times and ride closures on the Disneyland app. I found the estimates on this app to be very accurate for the most part. It got waits down to the very minute multiple times. One tip is if you get to a ride and the "posted" wait time is different than the "posted" wait time in the app, submit the new time. Then the expected wait time will change and be more accurate. :)
  • Fantastic App.

    By JenTillo
I've planned two trips now using this app and it's fantastic. The data is incredibly accurate (forecasting crowds and real time line wait times) and easier to use than the Disneyland app itself when checking line wait times. My husband hates crowds so being able to plan our trip for the slower times makes it a much more enjoyable trip for all of us.

  • Amazing help to plans-need to add Maxpass option

    By Ljs2
This app was amazing for my Disney World trip. I wish they could add MaxPass as an option so it calculates times better.
