  • It’s Okay.

I’ve been using this app for about a month now and it works. Only problems are that sometimes the app closes and never opens? Even if you try 10 times... Also, sometimes messages don’t even send so you’re waiting all day to get a response to a message that was never sent. And sometimes you won’t receive. However when the app is working it’s pretty useful.
  • Love it!

I really think that we should be able to FaceTime and get rid of call minutes cause I don’t like telling my friends that they have to call me.

Too many ads popping up and too many advertisement banners. Then, every couple days they send you a text message warning that you will lose your phone number if you're not constantly texting with it. Also, they want way too much money to remove the advertisements and/or to keep your phone number. I'm an adult and I was trying to use this app to conduct some business, but unfortunately, this app is more of a novelty item. It's not a professional solution. It's for children who have an iPod and no phone, so they can text & talk from it. Also, i tried to earn some free minutes by doing their surveys. I wasted at least 25 minutes on numerous surveys, answering a ton of questions, only to be told that “this survey is not a good match for you”. Unfortunately, I wasted valuable time and got nothing in return. This app is definitely not for adults. If you are an adult, avoid this app. It's not worth the aggravation.
  • Not what I am used to

I have been a very very very long time user. I began using text free back when they had the 0.99 cent version with extra tones. Pinger used to make games like slime ball, but in the past couple years, their apps have become riddled with bugs and advertisements. I understand they need revenue but the entire app catalog has deteriorated significantly.
  • Issues

Badges work intermittently. Stickers aren’t working. Same old tired error that there’s a network problem. If that’s then case I’d be experiencing issues with other apps and I’m not. I’ve moved to different networks and only TextFree seems to have a problem with each network. I’m also trying this on 2 iPhones. Both are having issues exclusively with TextFree. Where did my previous review go?
  • What happened? My number keep changing??

I used to have pinger a few years ago while traveling overseas. It was alright then, but now it’s just a mess. I’m trying to make find my phone number but even though I chose the number I want, it is changing my number every 1 minute. I don’t understand what is going on. I’m Really disappointed because this was my go to app but I’ll just delete it now because it seems it won’t function. Cheers to new updates, Pinger.
  • Doesn’t send me all of my texts.

Trying to get a verification code sent to me and it is withholding that text. Will defiantly not be using this app again. I know it is the app because I had to change my number to someone with an actual phone number and they got the verification text. This isn’t better than noting because it is nothing.
  • How long is a minuet?

You give free minuets which is great. But y’all count a minuet for anything under a minuet. I used this to contact someone out of the country and after 4 try’s calling because of issues with my phone, I realized that I only had 6 minuets remaining from the 10 you give. I think it should only be deducted if you actually connect with the other line
