  • New User Interface Is Not Good!

    By Zootooz
I really dislike the new user interface. It requires a lot more clickthroughs to get basic info. It used to be that when looking at your watchlist, you could also see market indices, and the various markets, including index futures were easily accessible by simple swiping without leaving the watchlist page. This UX is several steps backwards from the previous one, which was an improvement on its predecessor. As a professional designer, I recognize the fingerprints of a new development team or team member(s) that wants to ty to demonstrate its value by changing things even when they don’t need changing, and the change worsens the user experience. One specific instance of terrible design is that on the watchlist page, breaking news alerts cover up the first item on a watchlist, and you can only get rid of an alert by deleting it, which you may not want to do yet. I realize that because of the way the development design process works, this just so much spitting into the wind, but CNBC, please, consider returning to the previous user interface!

  • Older format was better!

Futures back in front please. Extremely repetitive home page! Not sure why apps always feel the need to change periodically. If it ain’t broke.......
  • New format

Kind of liked the old format better, but this is acceptable.

  • What happened?

    By Dita98382
This had been a favorite source for financial news. The listing of articles, the large displays of market activity, and the lack of jumping graphics were easy to read and navigate. Did a twenty-something with ADHD design the new format? Personally, do not need pictures and cartoon-like colors to lead me to information.
  • Great

  • Stops music when app opens

    By Jtg721
Idk if I’m the only one, but whenever I open the app, it stops playing my music. I understand if it is a bug, but hopefully they fix it soon
