  • Great

Let’s start of by saying this is a really amazing app I think it is good but needs a bit of improvement. For watching games, you should put the more important ones at the top. I was trying to watch the Villanova game but all I could find was baseball. Then I had to go hunt for it.
  • Slow, Unreliable, Clunky

This app is a great resource for its overall data and information that it contains. However, there are so many things wrong with it. It is slow and laggy. It takes like ten seconds to load the app, then another five seconds because there’s an unwanted video highlight on the home page. Also, whenever there is a “must see” notification or any kind of notification that plays a video when you open the app, it doesn’t show the video, it shows the home page highlight, and there is no way to find the other video. This app is just so slow and laggy. ESPN parades the app like it’s godsent, but it’s actually horrible, laggy, slow, and clunky. I’d recommend an app I recently started using called Action Sports. It has seamless functionality between pages and instant updating. It’s very user friendly and provides TONS of information, even for bettors. Overall 2/5, just for the WATCH ESPN function and information it contains.

I find the app to be okay as I just use it for scores and upcoming schedules. But one issue that has been persistent for some time now is the video. Whenever I get a notification on my phone about a video I’d like to watch, more than half the time it won’t play the video, but will still play the audio. This has been an ongoing issue for a long time. Needs to be fixed. Continuous bug fixes and this isn’t one of them?
  • Slow to start

It is taking so long to start I just don’t wait anymore
  • Why

    By warriorferever
Why is it so freaking hard to find the brackets for March madness. All I want to do is see my bracket on the app and I can’t find it at all.
  • Dumpster 🔥

This has been my go to sports app for several years. Whatever ESPN did to it this year broke it. It's extremely slow to load and refresh. It's often well behind live feeds and each action swipe is slow. I rarely write reviews this is just sooooo bad now.
  • Worst app for any fantasy sport

    By Packerman72
With all the money in the world and yahoo apps crush ESPN on fantasy functionality it's unbelievable. The fact for March madness you have to open the app, launch an in-app browser, then try and find your league within a side menu is a joke. If it wasn't for a poor decision to use ESPN for this year id give anything to delete it from my phone.
  • I like the app okay but...

    By Call_Me_Batman
It's been crashing on me all day. I've tried restarting my phone, updating it, even redownloading the app to get it to stay open so I can check March Madness scores. What a great time to not work, guys. Please fix or I will delete and never download again. You can do better.
  • Slower than a turtle with a limp

    By ayw818
Frustratingly slow since the last update. It’s like the app is connected to a dial up modem. I’m surprised Apple even let the update through their review process. Everything takes forever to load. Half the time navigation disappears. I have to force quit the app to reset it. I need a new sports app.
  • Yikes

    By mikegb7
Crashes all the time and now permanently crashing for me. Impossible to use with slow internet connection since everything I tap apparently needs to call out to the internet before the ui responds. It’s too bad since I actually want to use this app so often. Hard to understand why it’s so bad. Maybe it only works on the newest iPhones with extremely fast data?
