SplashID Safe Password Manager App Details

SplashID is the world's most trusted password storage system. For over 12 years, over one million users have kept their passwords safe with SplashID - and now it gets even better with an all-new version. Think of SplashID as your personal vault or digital wallet on the iPhone or iPad. You can store and lock sensitive information - not just usernames and passwords but credit card data, account numbers, registration codes, prescriptions, and much more. Keeping your usernames, passwords, and bank account numbers in your head, on a Word or Excel file, or written on a piece of paper is unsafe. Passwords can be forgotten; laptops can be lost. With SplashID, your data is easily and quickly accessible, reliably stored, and - most importantly - secure. Only SplashID offers: - Access: Free, native, secure apps for mobile, desktop, web, and browser - Choice of sync and storage: You decide how to store and sync your records with convenient cloud sync, local network Wi-Fi sync, or on-device storage - Touch ID login - Customizable record types and categories keep information organized - Photo capture feature quickly and easily stores credit card information - File attachments: upload photos, documents, and add notes to any record for reference - Protection features include 256-bit encryption and 2-factor authentication - Secure sharing: Safely share records with other SplashID users or even those who don’t use SplashID - Automatic SplashID Backup service to ensure data never gets lost - Security dashboard provides usage statistics and tools to monitor and fix weak, reused, and old passwords - Web autofill saves typing in usernames, passwords, and delivers the correct address from the secure data vault every time to prevent phishing - SplashID extension available for autofill in Safari Lock your personal information up in a state-of-the-art data saver and feel comfortable knowing that at any time you can access private information safely. No other password app delivers SplashID's combination of features, reliability, and security. • Still garbled text, a train wreck. Avoid!

    By Rich19500
The developers have had years to fix the garbled text problem and it still exists despite all the so-called user fix’s. It’s a software problem pure and simple and there is a fix for everything. Pass on this app folks. There are better alternatives for storing your passwords safely. Don’t even consider using this app, a train wreck.
  • I love this password manager

I just happen to find this app by accident but I do love it. I recommend new users to buy the lifetime with the USB Key Flash Drive. To me it was worth the money. And the USB Key works great as a hard back-up. Unfortunately, it doesn't work at my work place where I need it the most. But my work place has a strict computer policy and is not Splash ID fault. But the smartphone app comes in handy.

I am a long time SplashID user because this app has what I need and does it well. I have tried a number of others, but always come back to this cross- platform app that even supports a separate USB-key instance of my data off-line.
  • Used to be very good

But NO longer. I upgraded to the version that backs up to the web with the unfortunate result of losing important data. No need to stress how important this data is for all of us. The software allows for one to customize labels. Well, the upgrade wiped all that out and renamed some fields. Now I have to guess what is what. What a mess!!!
  • Great App. Good Support

I’ve used Splash ID for many years. I like the customizable record fields and local sync over WiFi works great. I’ve looked at other apps but in my opinion, none are as flexible as Splash. When I have contacted support, I’ve been satisfied with their response and their follow up.
  • Non functional

    By Franconero40
I have had complaints since last year and you’ve failed to deal with my issues. For the past 2 year 17/18 and 18/19 paying $19.99, yet I have an unworkable app. The iPad application does not open, and my iPhone app does not allow me to sync with my desk top. It tells me to get a subscription when i have an existing one. I am so very angry. Please urgently address this or i may have to seek some legal recourse to get my money back.
  • Good for my needs.

Does what I need it to do. We do not have lots of passwords so the program is easy to organize.
  • Does exactly what it should

New version with full support of face id. I never had any issues. Top conversation during the Beta test program. Easy possibility to make backups. Perfect solution for all your password needs.
  • Face ID works now IOS 12.0.1

Finally ! I’m so glad that SplashID does not crash now after enabling Face ID. SplashID version 8.2.2 Build 946. I Love SplashID app when it works. I’d say that Splashdata can do so much more with this APP , just need to be consistent with dependability of the app, and keeping up to date with the IOS or Android versions. I’m giving it 3-stars since I had suffered multiple crashes and lost data prior to this version. Good thing I have a backup. To my fellow SplashID users- please make sure you have a backup before your IOS , Android, and SplashID updates. It’s such a pain having to recreate records.
  • Great App!

I have used this app all the way back to my Palm Pilot/Treo days way before the iPhone and the concept of ‘smart phones’. And I have used it from the very first iPhone. Yes, that long. It has always been my go to password manager app. Has it had some issues along the way? Sure, what sw doesn’t. Have they always been resolved? Yes! I am a Lifetime Pro user. I synchronize over the cloud (which is certainly a vast improvement over syncing multiple devices to a master list on one device. That always had the chance of creating dupes). As of the last several years, it has run flawlessly across 5 devices with only the occasional glitch that required a quick reboot of the app (such as the records displaying as gibberish or the icons not matching up). I am bummed that I can’t use face recognition with my new Xs Max and did need to delete and re-install the app. But that took a matter of minutes with the restore even faster. I know and trust that SplashData will get it resolved. This tool simply just works, which is what I want most out of any technology. Update: Splash Data has provided an upgrade that solves the Face Unlock bug. All good.
