SplashID Safe Password Manager App Details

SplashID is the world's most trusted password storage system. For over 12 years, over one million users have kept their passwords safe with SplashID - and now it gets even better with an all-new version. Think of SplashID as your personal vault or digital wallet on the iPhone or iPad. You can store and lock sensitive information - not just usernames and passwords but credit card data, account numbers, registration codes, prescriptions, and much more. Keeping your usernames, passwords, and bank account numbers in your head, on a Word or Excel file, or written on a piece of paper is unsafe. Passwords can be forgotten; laptops can be lost. With SplashID, your data is easily and quickly accessible, reliably stored, and - most importantly - secure. Only SplashID offers: - Access: Free, native, secure apps for mobile, desktop, web, and browser - Choice of sync and storage: You decide how to store and sync your records with convenient cloud sync, local network Wi-Fi sync, or on-device storage - Touch ID login - Customizable record types and categories keep information organized - Photo capture feature quickly and easily stores credit card information - File attachments: upload photos, documents, and add notes to any record for reference - Protection features include 256-bit encryption and 2-factor authentication - Secure sharing: Safely share records with other SplashID users or even those who don’t use SplashID - Automatic SplashID Backup service to ensure data never gets lost - Security dashboard provides usage statistics and tools to monitor and fix weak, reused, and old passwords - Web autofill saves typing in usernames, passwords, and delivers the correct address from the secure data vault every time to prevent phishing - SplashID extension available for autofill in Safari Lock your personal information up in a state-of-the-art data saver and feel comfortable knowing that at any time you can access private information safely. No other password app delivers SplashID's combination of features, reliability, and security. • Making life easier!

This app is the best thing since the internet, in fact if you have more than one log-in you’ll want this app! As long as you remember to put the information in the app, you’ll always have it. I would also recommend including cloud sync of information! It’s a must have, otherwise it’s possible to lose info if you don’t.
  • Changing license policy without notice and blocking access to passwords on Mac app

    By fleis.uy
Purchased a basic license on the past without cloud sync, but now the app asks me to buy Pro and I can’t access my passwords anymore. I think it is not fair to block the app when I purchased a license to use. I understand you could change it if you release a new improved version and want customers to pay an update, but this is not the way to maintain a relationship with loyal customers. I use splashid from the beginnings of Palm.
  • Very good app

This app meets all my needs. Simple to use and with right amount of functionality to make it effective yet not complex. I use it as a vault for passwords and other info that I want to protect. I have used it for about a year.
  • Locked out yearly

    By Bassplayer64
For the second year in a row, in spite of my automatic renewal and payment, Splash has locked me out of my data while throwing a renewal needed pop-up on my app screen. These people are idiots!!!

This was my “go to” app for all of my passwords. I made the mistake to upgrade to the annual fee (I don’t recall having the choice) and I started getting billed for each device, same account. About six weeks ago Splash hijacked my account saying my password to get into the app was wrong. Every record I have shows I’m imputing correctly. Unable to retrieve any of my account, I’m gathering each account info from a sync backup of my own that’s three years old. I give up. It’s completely deleted from my devices now. BEWARE... idk if they got greedy, lost their ability to stay current or lazy - but reinventing 200 passwords takes forever.
  • Bait and switch

Used the one time purchased version for years and now they’re holding all my info hostage. DO NOT USE THIS APP!
  • Essential

    Great app. Very reliable.
  • Don’t update to this version

    By SpringMark
If you use WiFi sync you will no longer be able to access the app.
  • This is my most important app

    By Flashflood42
I’ve used it for years and at times have needed help syncing or moving to a new machine but it seems to work Just fine now. There were several alarming times when all looked as if was in Russian or some other strange language. But this app allows me peace of mind and is the one password I know for sure!
  • iPhone X finally supported

    By fuirious
Finally! However some bugs appeared: the password is cropped when browsing using the app. Also if you touch the hamburger icon to access settings part of the iPhone clock is partially obstructed.
