  • Great game!

Epic Seven is an amazing game with a great story and community fan base! I would just like to give a little recommendation for future players. I had finals week throughout the course of the Diene Eulogy Event and I missed out on pulling her due to being busy and all. And I feel like a lot of people missed out on her too due to the same problem. I’d like to recommend sometime in the future, maybe not soon but someday. Implement a “Event Unit Specific Banner” where maybe it’s just event units that are in the unit pool but make the banner cost around 100 bookmarks for each pull? So you’re guaranteed an event unit but at random? Just thought this would be a great way to promote E7 and give us unit collectors a little faith! Keep up the great work! I cannot wait to see this game progress even more!

  • Did Not Receive IAP

This rating will change when I receive the IAP that I paid for. I received a copy pasted answer from support. Not the best customer service.

  • Great Game For the most part..

I really love/enjoy this game overall, however the rates for 5 star characters are horrible. I know profit is important to a point, but come on at least raise the rates for characters and at least 5 stars. I would rate 5 if it wasn’t for this issue, but I know it needs to be said. Everything is fine, but please be more generous on rates.
  • Quit Summoners War for this game.

Almost any of the negative reviews you read for this game will be due to low summon rates or the game being grindy. A long-term grind is something I have grown accustomed to after playing Summoners War for 3 years, so I was excited to try this game out. I have now quit summoners war for this game. I have spent SO much on Summoners War over the years and never found a game that really made me want to quit it, mostly due to sunken cost fallacy. The reroll system in this game is wonderful and really helps you start the game on the right foot. This is so refreshing, opposed to games where they charge you 100$ for the starter pack that guarantees a 4-5* hero. I have seen no pay to win options whatsoever, the game is extremely comparable to Summoners War rune-wise, and it seems to be growing rapidly. I believe this is the same company working on Lost Ark currently, which I expect to be a major success. This gives me even more faith in the company that they will continue to grow the game in a smart, healthy way. I love seeing companies that are upfront about making money, without throwing money-hungry ads in your face every time you login. Even trying out the new skylanders game, you are greeted with 3 back to back ads as SOON as you start the game, followed by a throwaway story that is worth skipping. Epic Seven does not throw ads in your face, gives you many ways to earn heroes through connections and a free daily summon, and has an interesting, brutal story that you do not want to skip if you’re into JRPGs. This game just overall feels like a much friendlier, less predatory gacha game than anything I have ever played. (Besides Dragalia Lost, which just keeps exceeding my expectations. I play both games, everyday). Please give this game a shot, and if you like it, join the Reddit. It’s growing quickly and is very active currently, really adding a lot to the game. Reroll for Sez if possible, it’ll help. Good luck!!
  • Actually Fun

I actually like this game. It’s not too difficult to understand the gameplay and I love the art. In my opinion, the story’s fine (the universe is unique although the general storyline comes off as generic) and the different play-styles for the missions is a nice fresh touch. I only have one problem with the game though: getting rare characters is way too difficult. RNG never seems to be in my favor (hence the 4-star rating). Maybe if they were to include a 5-star hero selector at the end of the tutorial or something like that at the end of the main tutorial, then the game would be even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend trying this game out and creating your own opinion on it; there’s no harm in playing through the tutorial.
