Paprika Recipe Manager 3 App Reviews

  • Version 3 missing features of version 2

    By CitationM
I wish I hadn't upgraded. The new version is missing the feature where it will ask you to load a URL if the app detects one on your clipboard. Pasting a URL into the browser for download is also not intuitive like it was in version 2. I contacted support with this critique and no one responded. Since I have an app on the app store, I know these features would take about 20-30 lines of code or so to install. As it stands, I've kept version 2 on my iPhone when I need to add a recipe. Poor service for an app that I've spent ~$15 on (2 iPhone apps and one iPad app). Disappointing for an app that I've been otherwise very excited about.
  • I LOVE this app!

    By Puppy dogs rock!
I love this app and wish I had known about it years ago! I have it on my Mac, iPad and iPhone. It’s the best money I’ve spent in ages! I have about 60 recipes entered so far and it is so EASY. I was so tired of the binders that held all of my recipes and they took up so much space. Now all of my recipes will be in one app I can look through instead of pulling out binders. With my recipes available on the computer, ipad and phone I can plan meals anywhere. So simple. Also, sometimes when I’m at the grocery store I will see a great looking ingredient for a recipe we love and want to make the recipe and I always forget an ingredient when I am trying to go by memory what I will need. Now that’s not a problem, I can just check the recipe on my phone. Brilliant!
  • Wish there was zero star option

I have Paprika 2 and recently purchased Paprika 3 but can not get the two to sync I assume because of my new email account. I have contacted the developer by email 3 times and to date have not had a single response from them, not even as much is an acknowledgement of my emails. Waste of money and I plan to let many know on the various FB cooking pages I belong to.
  • Love this App

I’ve been using this on my iPad for several years now. I’m so glad they added it to the iPhone. I now have it available at all times and can sync it to both devices.
  • Grocery List Export

    By Octocroco
Need to be able to export the grocery list to Shipt or Instacart.
  • Honestly, the best app in its category

    By BCWilsonDotCom
It’s become a staple in my kitchen. I use it for shopping, keeping track of what’s in my pantry, importing recipes from websites, etc. and it excels and everything it does.
  • Problems resolved! (Mostly)

    By TasaPNW
1/1/19 All seems to be working now with the app on my iPhone 6s and iPad 6/2018. However, today's when I tried to install the latest update to my iPhone 5c, I couldn't get the uptown load. My 5c iOS is 10.3.3, so according to the specs it should work, but no joy. Is this the 16-bit issue rearing its ugly head again? I hope not! Previous review Having just acquired a new iPad 2018, I downloaded Paprika 3. It seems to me some unnecessary sacrifices have been made that actually reduce functionality. 1) Why the scrolled layout when in Edit mode? It doesn’t result in a more accessible format for editing, quite the opposite! 2) the category(-ies) are not visible in the master listing, so I can’t see if a recipe needs categorizing unless I open it. It’s an annoying oversight. 3) The Info line crams too much information into one line, rather than having separate fields for source, number of servings, etc. An update should result in more functionality, not less. I really can’t see any improvement, especially one that requires a substantial upgrade fee.
  • Love this app!

I have really enjoyed adding recipes - so much easier to put all the recipes I find and want to try online in one place. Nice to have it handy when shopping, too. Definitely don’t regret paying for this one!
  • Just works

    By blairiscool
This app does literally everything I needed it too right out of the gate and it was incredibly intuitive the whole time. Planned a week’s worth of meals and the grocery list to support it in about 15 minutes after opening the app. Worth every penny.
  • Amazing Recipe Box

    By JimMotes
I love the ability to filter the blog posts from the actual recipes. This is best recipe management app I’ve tried. Worth every cent. I’d pay just about double if it would link up to my watch...
