Dragon Hills 2 App Reviews

  • 99% Fun

A great game with no in-app purchases! Just start the game and watch the destruction. There’s a few flaws. The phone will auto lock unless you occasionally tap the screen. Sometimes the dragon will get stuck, which can take several taps to escape. The zombie well under the girl fills up to 100%, but then doesn’t actually do anything. I was expecting something to happen once I filled. Now zombies collected go in without any effect. Oh well.
  • Terrible

I have already wrote an extensive review but it would not post so summarized. The game is a joke compared to the first there are less dragons graphics are worse the bosses are just buffed every level. I had to confirm that this game was made after the first. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY BUYING THIS ATROCITY OF A GAME.
  • Good but needs a little work

The original dragon hills is one of my all time fav iPhone games! I was so excited when I saw this was released, but it does need some tweaks... 1. iPhone X support is needed ASAP. It looks tiny and it doesn’t even fill the screen top to bottom because the new iPhone X “home button bar” is always displayed throughout gameplay. 2. The dragon doesn’t move nearly as fast as it did in part 1. There are too many obstacles constantly slowing down the speed. 3. The bosses are a bit frustrating. Of course they should be a bit difficult but you never really get enough speed to engage them. You can’t get to the boss until the boss kind of slows down. 4. The constant toxic waste pools (lava pools in part 1) are a bit too difficult to navigate compared with part 1 which again slows the pace. 5. How are you ever supposed to beat boss 5?! It’s too difficult for that stage of the game because you never even get enough coins to increase speed etc enough to beat him. I really wanted to give this game 5 stars because part 1 is like 10 stars! But I guess there’s plenty of time for improvements. Thanks for the new game!
  • Fun core, sloppy details

The basic experience is fun enough, but in the long term all your low-level upgrades become serious penalties (you want to un-buy everything but the good stuff), the grind becomes extensive, the level-up mechanism stops making sense after you change worlds, etc. There are just too many small frustrations.
  • Hooked

I’m hooked. Glad to meet you. 5 stats
  • Potential for more

    By Hmsbeagle75
It has the potential to be as good or better then the first, but the boss fights are slow and take too long that it really degrades the experience.
  • Almost a great game

    By Questtt
Beware. It takes about 5 hours of gameplay before the game becomes enjoyable Main gripes (1) bosses have so much health, it takes forever to kill them. It’s a bit boring, takes an even amount of luck and skill and It makes the game not nearly as mobile friendly (2) one of the bass grinding abilities (ie abilities you have to max before you can really play the game) is speed. The speed at lvl 1 is painfully slow. About as slow as the worm dragon in the first game. It’s bad game design to start the game incredibly boring and force players to grind out of the bore
  • Zany Good Fun

Left a glowing review of this game, the review disappeared, so I'm done putting any time into them just to have some glitch with iOS ruin my efforts.
  • It’s not perfect but we need more games like this

    By Johnmakuta
I really love this game. It does feel really slow at first but the more you play it, the more it speeds up. On thing, I’m using an iPhone X, would love to see an update to make it work with the bigger screen better! Love the music in it! I actually turn off my podcast to listen to it! Absolutely love it, totally addicted. I’m sitting here playing this instead of my switch!!!! I really love to see a developer who isn’t dipping into micro transactions which I completely avoid. Thank you!!!!
  • Disappointed too

Liked the first one. Was excited to see this one. But, like so many others have said, the difficulty is high, and the reward is low. I can see it’s going to take a major grind to get anywhere. I want to have fun, not grind. Sadly, deleted.
