The game challenges your memory. It also makes you concentrate on the different settings by adding objects that are not immediately seen while trying for higher scores.

Update to earlier post. They seem to have found the problem because the program rarely crashes any longer. When playing, you can generally do something in the game to continue advancing, unlike p. Peril, it’s sister game. The more I play this one the more I like it. While the concept is good and the story is good, the game crashes quite often. I use the app not Facebook and it seems to crash several times a day probably averaging 2. I play on a brand new iPad with all updates. Very disappointed in the crashes and when it reboots, you lose whatever you were working on. After reboot it should take you to where you were but it doesn’t.

I used to love this game, practically addicted, but for the past several weeks the game crashes whenever you have to watch a video, and I had the game connected with Facebook but now it won't connect with Facebook every time I try. I did spend money on this game, been playing on an iPad but now I'm just waiting for these glitches to be fixed or actually just delete the darn game altogether. What a waste, I was playing for so long and now I can't.
  • Love the game, however...

IF YOU ARE NOT A FACEBOOK USER, THIS APP IS A WASTE OF TIME. Not happy that the “2 bars of free play” are only for “Facebook (FB) subscribers”. You should at least give a few daily free spare energy bars for the “non-FB” people like me. When the energy bar is depleted, it takes an EXORBITANT amount of time to recharge to play again!! 30 minutes would be a fair time lapse. FB players probably don’t have to pay$$ for the extra energy options. I haven’t recommended this app to friends because of these issues. It’s exasperating! I would HIGHLY SUGGEST that this app be re-vamped for use by the general (non-FB) public. Seems a bit discriminatory.

I love the game. Everything was working fairly well with only a few crashes. When you select to watch a video so that you can pay less to play, it always crashes. But now, during levels 18 and 19, it constantly crashes, and in so doing, eats up my play points. So aggravating. Is there a way to reinstall without having to start all over? Or do you have to keep playing through the crashes and point losses to come out on the other side? It really is a shame because it's an entertaining game.

6/16 - Update #2: Wooga is so intent on providing their canned responses that they miss the salient points: 1) Yes, I understand that we can play for free...but if we do, the game moves at a snail's pace. 2) Massive delays are built into the game....especially with respect to the lighthouse. Several days have already elapsed, and it is still not finished. Five days? Six days? How much longer does this take? When does it end? 3) As players, we may be awarded a 30-minute star-booster... The timing of the booster is such, however, that we cannot actually use it for more than a minute or two. Why? Energy bolts are quickly depleted. By the time the energy has rejuvenated, 30 minutes have elapsed. Essentially, the booster is a "hollow" award. 4) Mastering each scene requires a player to burn through more than 110 energy bolts -- and that is only IF the player watches advertising promos to reduce the quantity from 15 to 10. Otherwise, it is worse! When the energy bolts are gone, the player waits -- AGAIN! Players either need to be content with playing a few minutes at a time over the course of the day -- or move on to another game that is less irritating. Financially, you would probably do a lot better if you charged everybody a small annual fee and then allowed unlimited play. You certainly would not "tick off" as many players! --------- 6/13 (7:24 pm) -- Update. Wooga just wanted to know if I enjoy playing... Can they NOT read my review? The portion of the game where we find hidden objects is fun. Everything else is SLOW - FRUSTRATING - and IRRITATING. The game is designed to trigger numerous in-app purchases -- EXPENSIVE!!! Energy bolts are quickly depleted. If you are unwilling -- or unable -- to make the in-app purchases, then you are stuck with LONG periods before you can play again. Cannot advance without decorating. Cannot decorate without purchases and/or expansion. Viscous circle! Additionally, there are numerous, DELAYS built into the game. You are also relegated to continuing to play chapters you've already "mastered" in order to amass sufficient coins to purchase more stuff that you don't want so that you can advance to the next chapter. Items are misidentified. In Waterfall (scene 28), you are instructed to find "bullets", yet the items shown are shotgun shells. In Virginia's Classroom (scene 32), you are instructed to find a garland, yet the item shown is a wreath. Inconsistency of labeling is another issue. In one scene, a pipe is something a person smokes. In another scene, a pipe is an element in a building's structure. One would expect proper grammar from professional game-makers. The game commences with a glaring error: "--had raised Claire and I". The statement should have been phrased as "Claire and me". Players receive a 30-minute star booster -- but only when there are insufficient energy bolts to play. THANKS FOR NOTHING! The only entertaining aspect of this game is finding hidden objects. Otherwise, the game is wrought with irritation and frustration.

Great game with very good rewards, reasonable amount of time to find clues and cute story!
