Fire Emblem Heroes App Details

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 700 story stages available as of February 2019! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki and Shigeki Maeshima. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. Two years ago you could easily get strong heroes. If I bought Orbs it was even easier. Lately it has changed. Spent $40 to some get some new and stronger heroes. Got nothing. Suspect Nitendo has some AI to pull as mush $ out of players as possible. Moving on to another game.

This game is absolute garbage. They can’t do anything right. I play TONS of gachas and FEH gets outperformed on every level by many different games. The devs are greedy. The last updates are attempts at trying to squeeze money out of you. They can’t really balance this game. They make some units absurdly annoying to deal with. At endgame, it gets hard to earn orbs to actually get things you want. The cherry on top is that the devs or anyone who has influence over the game doesn’t actually care about feedback unless it’s backlash that will visibly affect business. Take Surtr for example. They just popped him in there and didn’t actually care until people were actually starting to leave because they couldn’t balance a game. The reason why armors were meta for so long is because the biggest whales in the game were spending money trying to get them and IS likes the money. They won’t even read this review so it doesn’t matter. ✌️

I like the voices and music. I love the storyline and characters. They all look so cool!!! I like how you see them as chibi-ish thingy version when they battle! It’s so cute!❤️❤️❤️
  • Really fun

It’s Fire Emblem, and, while it does seem too simplified for hardcore fans, the elements of challenge careful strategy are still present. Some missions are very easy, but, as usual, there are more brutal difficulty choices. Being able to use characters from different Fire Emblem games is fun, and if you get one that you already have, they can still be used to benefit other units. The 4v4 battles and smaller grid make battles quick, easier to see, and help new players to not get overwhelmed. I imagine that some hardcore fans don’t agree with this game, but I personally still enjoy it. A good warning for parents though, is that some of the units (characters you get) are VERY sexualized. Some are also part of the story, so, it’s up to you, I guess. Good game, would definitely recommend it to anyone getting into the series.

  • Worth the time I’ve spent

As a huge fan of Fire Emblem games, I absolutely adore this game. I’ve spent countless hours playing this and I didn’t think I would ever spend half as much time playing a mobile game. I have one complaint and that is that I find the gacha system for acquiring heroes can be a little silly. You need to summon heroes based on what color they are and sometimes the available color doesn’t show up. If there was some way to ensure that one color would show up more often this game would be perfect. There’s consistent updates of great content and it’s just fun to play if you like turn-based combat.
  • Gone downhill

Don’t even bother with this game. It’s turned into nothing but a pay to win grind feast that is plagued with issues. You HAVE to put money into the game just to hope the get some of the good characters and don’t get me started on how shallow the rewards feel or how you obtain new abilities for your characters. If you favorite character is bad it takes a lot of effort and money to fix him or her and even then, that might not fix that character. The power creep is too real. Just get a Switch and wait foe Three Houses.
