  • Very little local content and late

Having the athletic in Pittsburgh is like getting a three day old newspaper. You get 3-4 columns per week and some filler. There is no effort to cover breaking news. I held off for years before subscribing, I should have waited longer. My app is always empty of new local coverage.

This is the only sports “magazine” I subscribe to. The writers do their homework, but I also respect the opinions they work into their stories. Outstanding stable of contributors. Keep up the great work.

I’m so glad I happened upon this reservoir of outstanding articles and often outside of the box take on things. Actually feeling good about having spent the money on this! I am a Toronto Maple Leaf fan primarily (with a high interest in the NFL) and the Leaf coverage is outstanding. Thank you.
  • Bad app

It’s 3/18, and the newest story is from 3/15? For entire NBA and NFL. The setup of the app is horrible to see stories and their best writers. You have to go looking

For solid reporting and inside info, I know of no better sports site. As a 4sport fan I read it every day. Always an interesting article or three.

Best sports coverage, bar-none. Subscription required, but justifiable. Would definitely pay for information this stellar, if available for other venues. Wish there was more content, but understand the limits based on fee-for-service(quality over quantity). So much access to information these days, but refreshing to see high quality content, albeit at a cost, available to those who crave such. Prefer well-written, professional-grade, insightful, well-researched content over mass-produced, repetitive ‘free’ ad-subsidized swill. Acceptable pay options totally worth the price.
  • Wonderful App

Beautiful layout, wonderful functionality. If I could add one thing it would be to have the ability to turn the screen to landscape for reading long articles. Portrait mode is too narrow for long reads so I end up using the web site instead but I’d love it if I could use the app for everything. Besides that, it’s perfect!
  • This is the sports coverage you’ve been wanting.

This is really simple. Become a subscriber. The cost is reasonable and the coverage is extraordinary. I have no regrets except that I waited a few weeks to sign up.

As a USC fan, I am thrilled to read the truth in print. It’s sad to learn, but the problems will continue to fester until changes are made. I like the idea of firing the heads of all the athletic departments starting with the incompetent, stubborn, NARCISSISTIC AD. HE & Helton are cyphers. They are living off the reputation & talent of others. My anger is their “me first”. attitude. If either man had character & really cared about the student athletes or school, they would resign. Even as obtuse as they are, they have to know they have made huge costly errors. Helton profited off of Sam Darnold, now he will feed off of Graham’s talent. He is a FRAUD. I hope the Board of Trustees finally see a new strong president is needed immediately. Thank you for openly exposing the pathetic “management” at USC. I can only hope all this bad press will finally bring the necessary changes.
