The automatic workout generator is excellent, the interface is gorgeous, and certain key features like the easy substitution of one exercise for another and the ability to customize recovery percentages are truly brilliant." “Great for Beginners too! Love the Fitbod app, it has helped me so much in my workouts and development. Was stuck for years around 15% body fat and doing the same workout. After using the app for 2-3 months, went to 10% body fat and doing so many different things during the workout. Thank you so much for this app." Instagram: Twitter: Facebook: Strava: Privacy Policy: Terms of Use:

Fitbod Weight Lifting Tracker App Reviews

  • Great app

    By RockstarBro
Quality app. Best gym app I’ve encountered. After sifting through several other apps I found this app and made it my primary workout app. Their privacy policy looks pretty good too. Better than some of the other ones out there for sure. One of the best apps I’ve used though. Would certainly recommend it.
  • Suggests dangerous exercises

I may still come back to this app after I try a few others, but I am looking for other options. I joined a gym a few weeks back and I was looking for an app to assist with workouts and I thought this app was exactly what I was looking for. Up to this point I had been doing the same full body workout routine and was looking to have “focus days” (legs, back, etc.) and as a new weight lifter I didn’t really have time to search for all of the different lifts that I could do to focus on a muscle group. However, during the little bit of research that I have done I came across certain lifts that I should NOT do as they are prone to causing injury or simply don’t work as advertised. These lifts include Upright Rows and using machines for Leg Press. During my 3 day trial, I was told to do both of these lifts by this app. Thankfully I was aware of the dangers of these exercises and found something else to take its place but it seemed to contradict the point of the app if I’m spending more time finding other SAFE workout routines for my short time at the gym. Will look elsewhere for a workout routine.
  • Best workout app

I’ve been using this app for 2 months souls and I love it. It incorporates muscles that are sore so you can work them out. Never boring because there are so many different workouts. Also video instructions so you don’t feel like a goon.
  • Forced to purchase

    By A former app user
I’m disappointed that now you’re forced to purchase a plan in order to use it. When I first started using this app- I could always use it for free, with the option to upgrade. It’s a great app and would totally continue to use it. However, I am unable to unless I now purchase a plan. It was a good year Fitbod, but I’m not paying for this.

I’ve been working out for years, specifically, ever since high school (16 years old), and I am still going strong at 22 years of age. Getting a personal trainer (in my opinion) is costly, and more importantly, leaves you with a mindset of being dependent on another person to strike your motivation. Maybe I just like being independent, but regardless of my interests, this app is the perfect way to set an extremely accurate routine for yourself, shock your muscles, and make GAINS fast. What I tend to do is look at the muscles groups designated or suggested for each day before I workout, but I never look at the actual workouts until I’m already in the gym and ready to lift, so that way, you surprise your muscles and get those gains quick. Long story short, this app is really a personal trainer in a phone and is more than worth it if you’re considering taking fitness to the next level.
  • Bugs

    By get over it
For some reason the app won’t let me add bi tri and shoulders it keeps deleting those when I try to edit and target those muscles groups- keeps defaulting to legs and abs.
  • Strava for weight lifting

    By racerbob123
This is the weight lifting app Strava should have made.
  • The Best Gym App

  • Pocket-sized Personal Trainer

    By GallagherFamily
LOVE this app!! it really helped me feel more comfortable in the gym and gives me fantastic workouts. It sometimes freezes when I try to log an exercise but otherwise, it’s perfect!
  • Free download, pay for features

    By some tiny dude
The app itself is very cool. But after your three free workouts, you have to pay for EVERY SINGLE feature! I’m baffled.
