Deus Ex GO App Reviews

  • Pay for Undos?!

    By L0n3s74r
This game was fantastic, but I immediately uninstalled it when I discovered I have to pay for undos. That some bulls**t there. Tired of these game companies trying to squeeze ever dollar out of their consumer, especially AFTER paying full price for their game.
  • Almost Perfect

4 Stars just because they are trying to grab more money with IAP.
  • Great on Ipad!

    By RegGuheert
Square Enix has done an incredible job capturing the feel of their triple a games in a puzzler package. I loved Lara Croft Go and played it all the way through, and after playing Human Revolution I can say that this game definitely is a solid Deus Ex game. Deus Ex Go is solid through and through. The somewhat simplistic but amazingly stylized graphics complement the challenging but doable gameplay. As far as the in-app purchase hints, I do think that was a little bit of a low blow to buyers. But you can still play the whole game without hints (if you’re clever enough). And if you run out of hints, just look at a walkthrough. This isn’t a big deal, and certainly doesn’t warrant the loss of a star. I haven’t tried the level maker yet, but I’m looking forward to it.
  • Pay and pay and pay...

    By DishNextTime
Game is cool to play, nice graphics... but after paying $5 for it now I need to also pay for undo’s when I inevitably screw up?! This is something I’d expect from a free to play game... this is just a money grab. Time to YouTube the solutions when I get stuck I guess..
  • Keeps Crashing

    By CyCoCyCo
Loved Lara Croft go. This app seems super nice, both on my old iPhone 7 and new iPhone X, it keeps crashing. Can’t even finish one stage :(
  • Decent game

Fun to play but drains the battery and my phone gets super hot!
  • Good, but has one huge flaw

    By proemf
As a Deus Ex fan, I must say that this one is decent. The puzzle design is simple, but it can get tough. Even though I had lots of fun (still playing) it’s a bit ridiculous how there are pay to win options in the game I already paid for. Some of the puzzles are very hard, and it sometimes feels as though the game wants you to pay for a solution to a puzzle. Other than that gripe, the game is a bunch fun. It has stylish graphics, nice animations, and even a puzzle creator. Despite the microtransactions, I still recommend this to those who love puzzlers or to those who like the Deus Ex series.
  • Best of the Go Trilogy

    By DarKlaido
This is my favorite of the Go Trilogy. It was smooth take-down animations, and an engaging storyline with challenging puzzles. My main complaint is that after only 15-20 minutes of playing, my iPhone 7 Plus gets VERY hot, like worrying hot. So, I’m forced to enjoy it in short bursts lest my phone and/or hand begin to melt.
  • Terrible on Apple TV

    By stan_alexander
This game does not support the controller on Apple TV and the remote has probably got to be the worst way to play the game. Not only are the turns not retested by your finger properly, bit the single button controls make it even more difficult when to tap and when to press. More importantly it is super hard to control the character with the remote as your finger swipes register improperly within the game. It almost makes it a questionable Apple product. How would Apple approve this type of inaccurate gameplay. I’d give it zero stars for unplayability - again only on Apple TV, on the iPhone this game is fine.
  • Great game!

Love an easy to use, quick turn based strategy game. Final Fantasy GO? Think about it.
